The bill will always be a win win situation. 50% sa consumer at 50% sa manufacturer. Unless of course na mag-iiba ang version pagdating ng bicameral conference committee wherein sangkatutak na pera ang babaha 2 amend the proposed measure to a 20% 80% proportion in favor of the manufacturers. This is very possible.
Unless na makita nila ang urgency eh hindi mapraprioritize ang bill. Kung ang bill ay like this: An Act Increasing the Penalty of Carnapping and Carjacking to death penalty, amending for that purpose etc. etc. > This will surely attact the attention of the politicians as it is a current issue which they could ride on para magkaroon ng pogi points. Anti-Lemon Law?

So all we can do is pray that our D4D Innovas stall within the warranty period . . . or doesn't stall forever.

December 2nd, 2005 03:57 PM #2935sir jimaroqui, thanks for insight. Complicated nga ang process...whewww. However, we can't live with the current situation where we always have this "UNEASY FEELING" whenever we drive our Innovas coz of stalling/choking problem. Can you sir advise us what should be the best thing to do to at least relieve us from this anxiety. TIA.

December 4th, 2005 03:55 PM #2937Hello people,
I'm planning to get an Innova within the month and still thinking which variant to get (for budget considerations, J is the way to go) But if I go with the E variant, is it worth the 100k+ difference from the J? Considering the power features and seat material. May iba pa bang advantage yung E? I haven't had the chance to compare both variants point by point. Another question is wether to go for D4-D or VVTi engine? I tried reading the whole thread starting from the first page but sobrang dami na pala ng pages. It would take a very long time to read the entire thing. One consideration is the problems encountered by some of the forumers with their D4-D engines. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First of, decide whether the recent stalling/sputterring of the D4-D engine is really worth the trouble or risk. Read more on that here
If you dont want any headaches associated with the D4-D engine, either get the "J" vvti if on a tight budget or "G" vvti if within the budget. The "E" is available with the D4-D engine onlyLast edited by number001; December 4th, 2005 at 04:06 PM.
