Ako lang nag install, replacement lang ang binili ko, na-sales talk yata ako ni Jonathan ng Olympiamarami na daw kumuha sa kanila ng replacement pero wala naman negative feedback. 3.5k each ang replacement made in Taiwan. OEM ignition coil is 5.8k *. I just hope na hindi ako magsisi sa 4.6k na tinipid ko...
Dalawang coil po ang kailangan sir?

Yup, there are 2 ignition coils, pinalitan ko pareho. I followed the instructions from the Jimny's service manual (downloaded) on how to test the ignition coils.
Btw Doc, sabi ng suzuki mechanic natin na ipalinis muna ang throttle body, nasilip ko na kasi yun, malinis naman kaya dun sa ignition coils ako nag assume ng cause, which I verified naman from the test instruction of the service manual.
I also replaced the PCV valve as suggested by other international forumers, since mura lang naman, 180 pesos.
Spotted doc otep's jimny earlier along n. Domingo. Ganda na ng jimny doc. Lift nalang kulang hehe
How does your Jimny's fuel gauge behave?
My needle points to half after only 150km. I was expecting the gauge to point to half only after 180-200km.
After 315km, my needle pointed at 1/16th; one to two needle-widths, and needed 33.6 liters to refill my tank.
Are your gauges more accurate? Does the tank really hold 40 liters?
Tipid din ng jimny mo sir. Manual ba yan? May reserve pa kasi yung tank. Kaya hindi mo naachieve yung 40lit sir
Sir, also, if madalas ka mag low fuel, mabilis masira yung fuel pump and injectors since it will be sucking all the dirt in the tank. And hihina din yung pump since madalas makahigop ng hanginOriginally Posted by vegetablejoe
same with my gauge, ang bilis niya mag 1/2 from full. Then around 32 liters ang karga niya kapag almost empty na ang gauge.
Parang ang lakas ko pala sa gas. I forgot if I even break 250kms. Matic po yung unit.

Mga sirs, which is better A/T or M/T? I'm planning to buy a Jimny for light offroading. Quite amazed with the capabilities of the Jimny compared to heavier 4x4s. This won't be a daily or main vehicle, just for fun. Planning to just change tires and install lockers, maybe some lift. TIA.
Do you want to have full control of your vehicle while going off road on rocks and mud? Are you confident in your clutch control? If not, then an AT trans should be better for you. If you would rather put more of your focus on the road and choosing the best lines then not having to deal with gearing up and down is better. All you have to do is be familiar with the different settings for the AT trans and it will serve you well off road. I've taken my stock vitara on some light off roading and it was a breeze and quite enjoyable using the AT trans. Some worry that going down hill on an AT is scary since it has reduced engine braking, but I found that putting it to L gear provided enough engine braking for me to not even keep my foot on the brake all the time downhill.
