Bago pa po ako dito and im planning to buy a jimny. Ano po advice nyo sa akin? Kasi madami ako nabasa na may wobble kapag aabot sa 80kph. Mostly city and highway. Minsan lang sa offroad.

madali lang naman ayusin yung death wobble. iba iba lang approach ng pag ayos. pero there are known 3-4 ways to fix it.

So when buying a Jimny, we should also expect na that the death wobble comes along with it? Or is this an intermittent problem that does not necessarilly happen to all units. #hopeful Jimny owner 2017

Mine is all stock pero may wobble pa rin at 70-80 kph. Hindi ko pa napa-check dun sa suggested shop mo bro. Baka this weekend na. But I have the whirring sound this time when I switched to 4wd. Axle na kaya to or just a gear oil change? Any idea? 8 years na jimny ko with 80km mileage.

for tie rod ends, pwede press gawin, but may chance magbago steering feel mo. try mo magpahanap ng 555 replacement.

for the gear oils, i haven't changed mine as well hehe tranny oil palang napalitan ko.

Its just that it seems after a few years of use, you would have to prepare for your Jimny having this wobble. One would think that being a true 4x4 it would be solid and built to last at least 15 to 20years. (Like the old Pajeros)

Dreamur- total cost bumpers, step boards & installation 68k. Didn't use ARB brand ang daming brackets na ipa fabcricate. Unlike the SR brand bolt on siya (plug & play).

I just have those installed in garage one. Paid the labor lang.. But they took pictures afterwards for filing. Cheaper to source out the parts. Planning to diy sana kaya lang wala akong time..hehe

Thanks bro. Dont think I need to spend 68K (assuming I can afford) on an 8-year old car.
