    * larshell thanks again for the advise, malaking factor nga rin yang tibay, sa mga nakita kong PICs dito sa thread mukhang super tibay ng Jimny at hindi kami matakot ipasok sa bukid compared kung sedan or hatch yung mabibili namin ...

paguwi ko sisilip kami ng wife ko sa suzuki to check out celerio & swift, for sure isasama na rin namin ang jimny, hopefully magustuhan din ng wife ko at sya mostly magdrive nito...

joms, most jimny owners here intended to buy the jimny for their wife/girlfriend but ended up using it themselves.
    I'm one of them.

I got my Jimny in 2008 for a family of 4. It never had undergone any repair except for scheduled PMS. After 2 years, I bought a Nissan Grand Livina to address the GROWING needs of the kids. However, the wife prefers to drive the Jimny simply for the following reasons - reliability and ease in driving around terrible Manila traffic. I only get to drive it during coding.

    * dreamur, larshell & MAXBUWAYA thanks...

family of 4 din kami, 2 kids age 9 & 10, set-up naman pag wala ako, my wife, 2 kids plus 2 teenage pamangkins, we have to see the Jimny in person kasi my wife mentioned celerio diba ang liit nun?!?

tutal sisilip na rin kami sa suzuki, we will also check out Swift & APV II, kahit bigger ang APV sa nababasa ko lamang ng Jimny is solidly built & matibay sya...

I'm planning to buy my wife A/T Jimny

she just survived her 4th lusob of knee high flood 2 weeks ago sa Obrero on our Exalta.

But my friend na naka test drive daw ng halos lahat ng sasakyan which I believe kasi mayari nga ng talyer

    Advice nya:
-magsusuka arawaraw from monumento to Guadalupe via EDSA sa tagtag

sa mga experienced member of this forum pls convince me na exageration lang yun or totoo nga naman..

*ZUK, my kids are 11 and 8, they fit just fine at the back.
na-ibyahe na namin sa baguio jimny, with my wife and kids plus bags sa back.

IMO, if you're used to riding pickups, di nagkakalayo sa ride.
pero compared to cars, matagtag talaga jimny. of course may pros/cons owning a jimny than a car. depends on your need bro,.
    ma-lessen tagtag by the ff:
tire pressure mo 23F/26R, loaded yan according to manual, you could go lower pa if only 1 or 2 lang sakay.
replace stock tires, wider tires so you can go a bit lower sa tire pressure.
    nitro air(could be placebo)

jom's, My Jimny is included sa FREE PMS. Includes Oil, Oil filters, and spark plugs. Every 5000km or 2months pero ako since bihira ko gamitin I prefer 5000km. That is for 3yrs or 20,000km which ever comes first. Daya ano? Pero ok's narin compare to other brands walang FREE oil.

*larshell thanks again sa additonal info, laking tulong yang free PMS for 3 years, additional pogi points to convince my wife hehe, around 50-75k worth ba yang 3-year maintenance expense?

he he lugi nga yan, pero puwede rin bang every 2 months ang sundin para sa PMS ng macheck na rin yung sasakyan, specially sa tulad namin ng wife ko na newbie driver and pag aauto?

AFAIK 5000km or every 2months which comes first. For free PMS 20,000km lang
Around 2k to 3k per oil change lang gsatos multiply it by 4.

Talo ka kung every 2months mo gagawin kasi kung less than 5000km lang na consume mo sa 2months sayang yun oil and filter malinis pa. Good luck sa pag pili mo ng bago mong car.

    TNX for the tips Battaglin

Will ask for more detail pag nakabili na ako

    TNX larshell for the tip,

reading the past exchange, is it right that 235/R15 is the maximum size allowable without changing anything?
