    'daming pasaway at abusado sa kalye! If they think you're small they don't care about you, they'll bully you..at least I have a protection..[emoji34] some times i'll be used to traverse roads less traveled due to the nature of my job. and of course the hitch receiver will be used to carry my bike on weekends..[emoji58]

    It's your toy bro so do whatever pleases you. Just dont act like one of those pasaways or react aggressively to them after you got the mods installed.

    Hehe I hate pasaways, that's why I follow traffic rules & good driving manners as well as etiquettes. I'm not a coņo on & off road..just want a protection from those assholes in the streets..even my two suvs has steel front bumpers except the v8. Thanks for the reminder [emoji106]

    As for the jimny, my dilemma is whether to lift 2" & slap it with 235.75.15 or use 215.75.15 instead[emoji19] pogi pag naka lift kaya lang baka maging bansot kung smaller tires at maging wobbly in the long stretch especially past 80kph ang speed? Thanks

    cb, baka mabansot tingnan pag maiwan 'yong wheels if it's lifted. i haven't seen a jimny in steel bumpers with a lift using 205.70.15, mostly 235.75.15. but i've seen units in 215.75.15 forms but not with steel bumpers. as i mentioned earlier this unit will not be trailed hard core, but mostly city & hiways use & for the simple reason of having a protection sa daming pasaway sa kalye.

    my concerns if it's lifted 2" with 235.75.15 tires are:

    1. might affect & limit the speed in hiways as well as the gear ratio?;
    2. start off as you might call it (arangkada);
    3. death wobbles though (can be corrected thru steering damper?);
    4. fuel consumption is not much concern but would be happy if it wouldn't sipped fuel like a thirsty athlete..hehe

    pag nag change ka ng tires, may chance na magka death wobble.

    direk, hindi naman na-bully yung jimny hehe masarap lang talaga i-drive cause maliit and madali isingit.

    suggetion ko, before upgrading to bigger tires, try using it muna for the next few weeks na all stock. first upgrade should be the horns hehe liit sobra and single horn lang. hindi ka papansinin niyan

    -cb. Haha..nakakapanibago i drive, coming from big SUVs o sobrang praning lang siguro ako na I'm driving a smaller car but never experienced it naman sa swift. I'll take note of that! gamitin ko muna all stock. All upgrades are almost on hands (bumpers, panhards, castors, lift kits) except the tires. I'm having a hard time finding 215.75.15 mt. Any idea where can I buy those specific sizes? Pangit talaga ang tunog ng horn parang motorsiklo lang. Hehe thanks [emoji106]

    Hey guys, how do I make this fit snuggly on the jimny's rear lamp? I used 3m double sided adhesive. Can I use a heat gun on a fiber glass?

    There are double sided tapes for automotive use that are thinner and can withstand outdoor conditions better.

    That is what I am using. I think it is the mold or whatever the supplier used to form the cladding. Medyo hindi maayos pagkasukat.

    khaki green, quashy gray & red are special colors that's why they are pre ordered kung wala ng stocks sa planta. same old vvt engine as well as euro 2 pa rin. dapat euro 4 compliant na siya since it was imported 2016.

    I noitced a whirring sound when I switched on the 4wd last night. Could this be the axle problem or just a gear oil change? It went away when I switched it back to 2wd.

    cb-actually all mods parts nauna pang dumating kaysa unit. i had it installed last sat. i had to differ the plan of lifting it instead slapped it with 215.75.15 tires. baka kasi i might experience death wobble if i go 235.75.15. other plans were to lift it 2" & 1" wheel spacers, pan hard front & rear. natakot ako. kahit maglagay pa ng steering damper. that's why i sticked with simple & clean set up. so far i'm happy naman. brought it in bulacan via nlex averaging speeds of 80-110kph. no wiggle..happy [emoji4][emoji120]
    dreamur-thank you sir, the wait is over.
