agree with the post above. install a quality car alarm system nalang also.

The car does have a car alarm installed; that's one of the first things I put in a car. But mr. stupid just couldn't be bothered with learning to activate it and use it regularly.... hay buhay.

BTW, I wanted to post this in a more proper forum, like "Me and MyTsikot" but apparently I can't post on that forum. I dunno why. Pasensiya na lang po kayo for my long rant. OT nga pala ako dito, except that it's about my beloved Jimny.

First off:

If you have dark tint in front... ditch it. Get a light mirror tint for the windshield. That still gives you great privacy in the daytime while not impairing vision.

To improve visibility to other road users... racing stripes?

Then, for the son... make him pay for any and all damage out of his own pocket. That teaches them quick.

As for where you park... park somewhere else? Or chain a few dogs to the tires at night...

May kasabihan sa mga car owners, minamalas raw ang kotse kapag may "kababalaghang" ginagawa sa loob nito. Better ask your son to rent a room when the need arise ;)

On a serious note, tama yung isang nagcomment na your son should pay or atleast have a share of the cost of the damages which he incurred sa kotse. Mahirap pa nagmamaneho ng lasheng. Delikado yun sa anak mo at sa makakasabay sa kalsada.

Just practice defensive driving. At ingat parati.

Hats off to you for not driving now since you know you are physically limited due to impairment of your vision.

Spotted a brand new Jimny (no plates) that is sporting a hood scoop (similar to pic above). First time to see this. Usually the Jimny before didn't have hood scoop.

New jimny (2013) owner here, actually bought it for my wife...pero..... Sarap drive been using it for almost 2weeks..
Mga sirs san kaya pde mag pa intall new horns and audio preferably sta rosa area and have experience with jimnys..?

^i had my horn installed by Jemson last Tuesday.

As for the stereo, i suggest change the Oem front speakers with something better, then add rear speakers. May abang na wires yan for rear speakers.

Para san pala yung hood scoop ng new jimnys? Di ba wala naman turbo kahit yung mga bago? Pinagawa ko pala aircon ng jimny, buti oring lang pinalitan, 800 gastos lamig na ulit!

Design lang yung hood scoop hehe feeling ko para may economies of scale lang sa production ng hood kaya may scoop narin sa N/A.

Sir sobrang pangit talaga ng stock 4inch speakers natin hehe naipost na yata ni otep before. Suggestion ko is try to replace it first and listen if ok na ba sayo. If bitin pa, add rear speakers. If bitin parin, replace HU na
