Just an update....
Filmars was closed due to the long holiday. So I went to Banawe and luckily, Links suzuki parts was open. I had a local mechanic change the kinpin bearings and everything is okay now.
Zuk parts aren't expensive as other people said. They're comparable with the other Jap brands, except Honda
It really helped that I read the net
BTW, has anybody installed OME suspension to their Jimny? Is it good?

January 3rd, 2009 08:48 PM #273i just got my '04 suzuki jimny * 340k, ang sarap niya i-drive. this is my first car & first timer ako mag drive. it is really comfortable using this one rather driving my father's van. any advise paano ko enhance ung car parang kulang sa power? i already complained it with my dad, nasanay daw kasi ako sa powerful car..
bale napakabitan ko lang siya ng slim type sub..i just love this car, gusto ko lang siya enhance..i don't care kung matagtag basta as long as madali siya i-park at ilusot lusot.

it's 1.3 liter so not really built for power, so tama si tatay. pero backread na lang sa thread, meron yatang turbo for the jimny courtesy of speedlab.

The transmission is geared for low speed power not top end power.
On the NLEX, I could only manage around 125kph before running out of road. It may not be speedy but it's damn near unstoppable irregardless of terrain or weather.
For its size, I'm pretty contented with the performance. And I drive a pretty powerful car the rest of the week. Something that can do 160kph on the NLEX during emergencies.

2009 Jimny IV
Around the same time, Suzuki will also introduce a new-generation Jimny.
The fourth-generation Jimny mini-4WD will retain the current vehicle’s off-road abilities and hose-down toughness, but in a slightly larger, more comfortable and far safer package.
Little is known beyond the fact that, as a result, the next Jimny will probably include a separate ladder chassis.
Previous Jimny iterations have been the 1974 LJ, 1981 SJ Sierra and the current model launched here in mid-1998.
