sa experience ko naman.. i would agree with shockabsober... kung city driving as in city... especially kung may family ka this is not the vehicle for you... first reason is cramped up talaga, leg room is a killer and the backseats are very close to the front seats... talagang problema especially kung may matangkad sa pamilya niyo... 2nd is... unless may talagang offroad portion or sleet and snow sa lugar niyo you wont actually need 4wd
... kung city driving and occasional drive to the outskirts of the city i guess a nice car will do... kung gusto mo cute na car try mo ang suzuki ALTO... but thats just me...
pero if your a serious 4WD enthusiast at nag hahanap ng dedicated offroad machine this is a very good choice... or yung Samurai... hehehe..
cheers...:

Most of the time, we use the Jimny when it's only the two of us. People hauler tasks usually go the bigger car.
The Jimny makes a great second car. Around town, it can dart in and out of traffic and fit in the tightest parking slots. It also doesn't look like your run of the mill econobox hatchback and actually looks a bit butch from some angles.
You may not need the 4wd for driving in the city. But you will appreciate the increased ground clearance allowing you to drive over obstacles you would not dare if you were in an Alto. You will also not worry so much about ocassional floods.
Best of all, you don't get to see yourself at every street corner. In a week, I'd see a Jimny prolly once every other day or so only.

Hi peeps,
I now need to change the tires on my Jimny. I would want to retain the stock tire size, and was thinking of these tire brands on my list:
1. Pirelli Scorpion ATR
2. Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S
3. BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A (I'll have to go 215/75 nga lang)
Kita ko sa Tire Rack website na maganda feedback sa mga yan. Siyempre conscious lang ako sa budget hehe. Magkano kaya ang going rate on the market for those tires, so that at least I have a figure in mind when I canvass this weekend. Who has the best prices in town?
I'm also considering Goodyear (Fortera if I got H/T), or Dueler A/T's.
Of the lot, ano kaya ang pinaka-bang for the buck?

Thanks, magkano ba ang going rate ng BFG T/A? Need a figure kasi so that I have a price point when I start canvassing for tires tomorrow.
I'll PM you if I'm interested sa stock tires.
well, i have never met a victim admitting they maltreated their trans box...
