or siguro insert muna a hand towel between the seats just to see kung may friction before you remove kasi medyo mahirap alisin leather seat cover. thanks.

Good evening mga boss... Ask ko lang po regarding a newly purchased 2003 Jimny Manual Tranny SE, kapag arangkada ko sa 1st gear at 2nd gear may ugong ako nadidinig lalu pag nasa peak na(above 2k rpm about to shift) ng 1st at second gear, yung ugong parang tunog pag reverse/umaatras ng mejo mabilis, di naman sobra lakas pero dinig talaga, sigurado ko di sya sa engine kasi pag di naka engage ang gear or neutral kahit apakan ko gas hanggang high rpm wala yung ugong.
Normal po ba ito? Kung di po, ano po ang possible sira at san po recommended natin mechanic for this?
Sariwa naman po sya, labas loob, pati engine pinong pino pa. Napansin ko lang talaga yung tunog na yun sa arangkada.
    Thanks in advance.

Tsaka san po ba recommended shop/mechanic ng jimny natin balak ko sana pa change fluids bukas, engine oil-differential oil-tranny oil- ano pa po ba?
Ask ko na din ano oil for tranny/differential and ilan liters. Thanks.

San po pala kayo nabili ng parts, bnew and surplus...

Hi, new to the forum...have an 05 AT for six months now...The one with manual transfer case... I noticed that my temperature gauge needle gets up to a little over one half of the dial... Is this the normal level...also owm an old toyota fx but needle on gets up to one third of the range... So was a bit concerned...water levels are ok in the reservoir and radiator

when i got it eh green ang coolant.... and the needle was already at that level ever since.... so this week i drained it and used purified water...ganun pa din ang needle.... I've been using purified water in both my cars since 1997 when i opened a water refilling station..... at times ubos na ang water sa reservoir and kulang na ang laman ng radiatior... no overheating for both cars... park for an hour... and you will notice that your temp needle goes down... easy to cool hard to heat up... it takes a while for your temp to reach normal level.... i also use purified water also for my windshield washer.. no clogs... my 05 has racked up only 31000 kms on the odometer.... it probably is close to the normal level... thanks

Possible causes siguro ser, thermostat, waterpump, rad/aux fan, na try nyo na ba on at off aircon. Better po madala nyo na sa trusted mechanic mahirap pag tuluyan na bumigay at mag overheat sayang. Nasa below half po ang normal operating temp ko.

compared my temp readings to a 2011 where the gauge is horizontal while my 05 model is vertical... almost the same... brought the unit to my trusted mechanic and we tested it without aircon and the reading was the same... fans were opeating normally... constant temp in city or hiway driving... will monitor further...

Sir Vegetablejoe, saw your post sa Big Jimny... is the bluetooth adaptor for the obd2 port available here in the philippines?

I got 10.51 km / liter on my last tank of gas... Total Protec 95 octane. Purely city driving: 50% bumper-to-bumper daily drive to and from work. The other 50%, I would shift gears between 2800-3000 rpm; walang tipiran.

Looking forward to slightly better mileage, once I get the vacuum gauge installed.

I bit the bullet and bought a OBD2 scanner a few days ago. This morning I looked under my dashboard briefly, and couldn't find the OBD2 port. nyek nyek nyek

Could it be that the Japan factory excludes the standard OBD2 port (as well as the airbags and ABS) when assembling the CBU units bound for Manila?! "standard" na nga, tinanggal pa! haaaayssss!
