by the way bros,
if the rim is R17x7.5
what width of tires
should be put on this
rim? 195? 205? 215?
how do i come up with
the value? inches ba yung
7.5 and mm naman yung
195? is this the conversion?
7.5 x 25.4 = 190.5 ~ 195
TIA!
anyone knows if this is coming to our
shores? i think this has been launched
in indonesia.
yup.
facelift siya.
nice noh? hehehe.
mukhang bansot
na toyota alphard
because of the
headlamps.
sir lui, have any idea
if this will be released
sa pinas and when?
I saw a beige APV with front, side and rear skirts. Ok din. Mas nagmukhang malapad at bulky. Rims na lang ang kulang. Hehehe!
Sorry bro, I have hard times connecting to this forum for 2 months...Web server load problem?
7.5J width of rim should use around 215 width of tire, but that depends also to the tire ratio size.
For example:
wheel size 17 x 7.5J
tire size allowed:
- 205/40R17 (but the tire diameter is way smaller than original set + looks weird, and feel harsh in bad road finishing - not comfortable)
- 205/50R17
- 215/50R17
- 225/45R17 (well balanced in look & stability)
- 235/45R17
and a few other sizes.
The point is:
- look at the overall diameter size of the original tire set, then decide which ones are the candidate sizes. The replacement tire must be the same in diamater or smaller than the original.
- bigger tire diameter is affecting braking capability!
- more tire width is still OK, but check for suspension clearance & whell/rim size fitment specification.
- more tire diameter may makes your vehicle looks weird like roller coaster or SUV-wanna-be-but-it-isn't(if the suspension is not lowered) and also upset braking distance (safety hazard!)
- try before buy in the wheel shop, try to install new wheel+tire set to the car, so that you can judge which one looks better/nicer!
You might want to check this web:

http://www.bridgestone.eu/English/Gl...neDatabook.pdf (far more detailed infos about wheel & tire fitment)
Bold approved rims size means it is the most fit in width! (around page 16-17)
Usually the formula is more like this:
(wheel or rim width x 25.4) + 25.4mm
additional 25.4mm is for the overall tire width, due to arching in tire shoulder!
It's still being tested in Suzuki, Japan for safety & regulation for each countries. That's what suzuki factory said 3 days ago. I went there!
Just stay tune guys, it's way better improvement than you could imagine!
For example:
- better fuel consumption around 15% than previous model
- all new bumpers (front+rear)
- grille +headlamps (ofcourse)
- all new interior, not just colours, but also the interior roof:with integrated aircon holes venting (double blower equipped models only)!
- and, hold your breath: NEW REAR coil springs+suspension
- and so many other good things, include gas tank door opening from cabin!
The suzuki-apv-indonesia yahoo group is gone (deleted by unauthorized mods?), replaced with

we miss you bro. hehehe.
thanks!
any more pics to inspire us?
we haven't purchased an apv
yet. if only there was a faint
glimmer of hope that the
facelifted apv will be sold
in the phils, we may opt to
wait.

happy new year to all... can someone please help me regarding the APV...
i need to know what the fuel consumption of the vehicle is...
how does it ride ?
whats the down side ?
im planning to sell my car to get one for my big family...
thanks in advance to all
have a safe one
fuel consumption po nito around 6-8km/li sa automatic. manual should be more economical.
ride is on the firm side since leaf spring ang likod
downside? ang ayoko talaga dito sa apv is kailangan pa susian bago mabuksan ung fuel tank. hehe madami na po nawalang benta samen dahil olang dyan sa fuel opener. parang safety feature na din nya po iyun![]()
great lui
thank you very much for the quick reply
will try to visit a showroom when able.
cheers
