    wow! very nice!
    you from singapore?

    are those 14" rims?
    the design is very
    nice but it would
    look better with 17"
    or even 18" rims!
    anyway, it looks
    very nice as it is.

    congrats!

    Thanks! Yup, I'm from Singapore.

Yes, those are the factory 14" rims we get from the distributor here. Agree that it would look better with bigger rims. But was told that the warranty may be void if bigger rims are installed.

linchong, that's a beautiful ride. Good color choice. I'm looking to upgrade my 2005 apv. How much did you get it for? Please post your driving impressions... It's ABS and dual airbags right? Does that mean its 4wheel disc brakes already?

    nice ride!

"captain's seats"? pics of the interior would be very nice to see, so we can have a better idea of how spacious it is with the new seats installed.

    Thanks!

I got for SGD$56,900. For this price, it came with leather seats, alloy rims, solar films and reverse sensors. Yes, it also comes with ABS and dual airbags.

It is still disc brakes in the front only. You no longer need a key to open the fuel cap door, as there is a lever under the driver's seat to do this. The rear suspension is now spring coils, so the ride at the back is less harsh. The springs feel firmer than my previous Corolla. It drove better than I expected.

After finishing my first full tank of petrol, the FC was 9.58km/l. 70% highway and 30% city. Hopefully, it will improve over time when the engine runs in. I was told by the dealer that the official factory figure was between 9 to 9.5 km/l.

Wow linchong!!! that translates to 1.6million pesos!!! that's Top of the line Sta Fe and Fortuner Territory! The new APV is selling here for 775th php for the manual and 810th for the auto. No leather seats and backup sensors though but that's double the price! For once I'm glad I live in the Philippines...

linchong, hey bro, what engine is under your 2008 apv? our friend in the sales department here in the philippines says that the apv still uses the G16A (1.6L) engine. btw congrats on your 2008 apv you may wanna check our humble suzuki club here at www.clubcarryph.tk

ps: i wish that the next apv model would return its first generation rear combination stoplights which was a european standard (where the park light and the stop light are separated from each other). and hey i really like its very strong image up front.

    hello guys.
do you know of any EGR accessories
for our APV? like headlight covers?
been searching the net but to no avail.

i was able to get EGR headlight covers
for our kia picanto but there seems to
be no EGR stuff for the APV. i wonder
    if they have in indonesia.

    thanks in advance!

mga bros na APV owners, may question lang po ako reguarding the type II APV.

my mom is in search of a new van (currently starex 2001). its getting quite old na and kailangan brand new kapalit kasi wala siya masayadong alam sa cars.

anyway, we were looking sa suzuki, toyota, and hyundai. pero parang too pricey na yung super grandia and super starex. kaya parang bang for buck yung APV. it has an amazing price of 810k.

the thing is kailangan niya ng sobrang gandang suspension kasi may prob yung spine niya. kahit yung ordinary cars sumasakit na likod niya. kaya gustong gusto niya starex for the suspension. kaso as ive said sobrang expensive na yung bago.

the question is ok ba suspension ng APV?
riding comfort lalo na sa mga long drives?
hindi ba kapos sa power kung full load sa matic (like going to baguio)?
and lastly hows the resale value?

sorry ang dami tanong... just need inputs.

    thanks sa mga magreply.
