    mga bro,

is it true na mavo-void daw
    yung warranty kapag nagpa-
    install nung 2nd aircon kahit
sa casa? up to what extent
    ng warranty? buo bang van?

my parents and bro visited the
    suzuki dealer in commonwealth
and the agents told them that.

    talagang masama!
    hehehe.

anyway, 185/80/R14 ba ang stock na
tires sa automatic apv? eh di kung 17"
alloys ang gusto kong ilagay, then
    185/50/R17 dapat ang tires?

any idea kung anong brands ang
    merong ganitong specs and what
is the cheapest but reliable tires
    available in the market?

    TIA!

Yes, 185/80r14 ang stock ng APV. Kung 17s ang balak mo, dapat mga 215/50r17, para ma-maintain mo pa rin yung overall diameter ng tires mo. Stock diameter is 25.7 in while 17" diameter will come to be 25.5 in. Mejo malapad lang nga yan, but then most 17s are either 205 or 215 already. Full Run (made in China) come to about P3K+ which is about half-off from Dunlops and Bridgestones.

Di mavo-void yung warranty pag sa Suzuki mo mismo pinakabit yung rear aircon. Yan yung assurance sa akin nung nasa Suzuki Commonwealth, kaya nga nila ino-offer na kabitan nila yung rear aircon for 30K (ouch!) pag GA or GL yung model na binili mo. Denso daw yung aircon nila.

I think nabanggit ko na sa isang thread kung bakit wala rear aircon yung GL and GA model, kasi, sabi daw ng mga Hapon, yung GA and GL models ng APV were meant to be for utility purposes only daw, at yung GLX lang ang talagang pang-pamilya na model nila kaya may standard na rear aircon. I dunno if it's true na yun reason nila, pero sana naman they did some research on where they would market their APVs kasi parang sampal sa mukha nila na di nila na-foresee yung climate natin dito.

Pero malamig na kung sa malamig yung aircon at nung na-break in ng erpats ko and my pamangkins yung APV GA ko papunta sa La Union, nilalamig daw sila (sa 3rd level ng fan yung aircon) at naka-jacket pa daw sila sa loob. Totoo yun...kung di kayo pawisin like me. ;) As it is, I need one vent from the middle blower pointed right at me for about 5 to 10 minutes bago ko i-share sa likod. Papalamig or stabilize muna ako ng temperature ko. Hehehe

Yeah, for its size, the interior room is such a pleasant surprise. I can sit comfortably, without having to crouch in the 3rd row. Can't say the same for the Innova and Avanza.

    thanks bros!

    pero sa suzuki commonwealth
    nagtanong yung parents ko at
ganun nga ang sabi sa kanila
na kahit dun nila ipakabit eh
void pa rin daw ang warranty.
    tinatanong ko nga sila kung
up to what extent ang mavo-
    void. yun bang aircon system
    lang o yung buong sasakyan?
anyway, will ask them to clarify.
i told them to contact sir lui kaya
lang sa rizal pa kasi yung bahay
    namin at ang pinakamalapit eh
    yung commonwealth kay mas
    preferred nila dun. pero thanks
    for the offer lui!

bro IMM wala bang ibang mura
na di china? baka may lead eh.

I agree with all of you with regards to the interior space. Satisfied and tuhod ko kahit saan ako nakaupo.

    thanks guys!

my parents and my bro are
    seriously considering the apv.
    pera na lang hinihintay. hehehe.

kaya lang they prefer the GLX
because of the dual aircon and
the seats. i, on the other hand,
don't like the GLX because of
    the foglamps and the chrome
trims. and i prefer manual. sabi
ko yung manual na lang then
with the change, bili na lang
    ng leather seat covers, mags
and the additional a/c if needed.
    kaya lang mukhang matatalo ako
    sa voting. hehehe.

mas gusto ko nga yung hitsura
ng GA kaya lang bare naman
    masyado yung loob.

    anyway, i am convincing my
bro to have the lower portion
of the apv painted. i think it
looks better by making the apv
sleeker. but my bro said na para
    daw nakalutang.

    watchatink?

IMHO: The fog lamps of the GLX model are not there for porma purposes. Since the van is elevated high, the normal high low beams can therefore project a much farther beam. The fog lamps can illumnate immediate lower front portions (which is actually wide and perfect) making a highly visible front light visibility in any given situation. It really serves it purpose very well.

Go for the GLX model since it already have a OEM dual aircon.

Btw, have your text driven both models already? If not I suggest you shcedule for a test drive asap to know what you really like (and your what your parents and bro)

Also foglamps are good pag Malakas ulan or nagiikot ka sa mga maliliit na subdivision at nanghuhunting ka ng may mga utang sa iyo. Mas discreet ang foglamps

I think a different color for two tone would be better, parang bihira nagblack black for two tone.

Actually, this is a better idea if you really want two tone.

    actually i'm thinking na parang
    mini cooper effect ba. hehehe.
    hindi two-tone. mukha kasing
2 yung bumper ng apv and i
want it to look sleeker kaya
i wanted it to appear na parang
    may fenders.

thebat - out of the country
    ako kaya di ako makakapag-testdrive
pero mukhang sold out na yung bro
and dad ko dun sa glx.

    meron bang ibang nagbebenta
    nung leather seats aside from
the one being sold by the casa
    for 10K?

imm - have any idea how much
the dunlop costs? mas mura to
    compared to yokohama di ba?
mas mahal ba ang 50 compared
sa 40 or 45 series noh? yun kasing
corolla namin R17 siya na 45.
    dunlop siya. each tire costs
    around 5K.

    thanks for the feedback guys!

P6,500 yung leatherette seatcovers sa contact ko. German leather ata to. Haven't seen the one from casa, although this guy usually does a good job with his seatcovers for less than casa price.

As to the 215/50r17, I think it's P5K plus, almost P6K each. Not sure anymore. Nalimutan ko na. Natabunan nung price ng China. Hehehe!

I think 185/50R17 is very rare...
The nearest should be 225/45R17 (same diameter as 195/65R15 in APV X).

And BTW, 17 inch is not big enough for APV...
    It should be 18.
