mai na carjacked na pala na Subaro Forester and the driver killed, see above url.. How did they carjacked it? Anyone see the news update? Supposed you were driving going to Batangas.. and the carjackers side swiped you so you could stop the car and get out, what would you do in such situation? Would you still continue driving away from them or let them habol you or stop and risk being dead?

Don't buy a Subaro (sic) because if you join Subaru Society FB page you will be cannibalized based on lingo and philosophy. Subaru owners prize their cars for superb handling and fun driving. Sometimes, mag-uusap usap lang sila on a heartbeat for a Sunday run and voila you see them speeding to Sierra Madre or TPLEX.

No pun intended but what do you have against the brand? Or do you have something against the people in Subaru Society FB page?

    Dear Panero Egan 101:

I am a Subie owner and also in the SuSoc FB group. As can be gleaned from the above-mentioned post of mine, the description was a positive feedback of the free-spiritedness of the Subie owners. So to answer your query, I have no negative ideas on the said group and instead have the highest praise for the members' love for adventure. Sorry if you have misinterpreted my post.

    Your co-panero.

    Panero Mr. Big,

Thanks for joining in the lukewarm interpretation of my co-panero. Please kindly see my humble clarification above.

No problem, sir jisan948! I barely hear Subie owners talk bad about their beloved AWD cars. I look forward to owning one also. It's good to hear that the SuSoc FB group members are free-spirited and full of passion for their Subie cars.

Sino ba hindi? hahahaha... kahit anong sasakyan pa yan basta kaya humarurot, pipigain yan ng mga passionate drivers...

We are keen on getting a Forester but she is having second thoughts when I suggested the Forester XT. Yun nga daw Fiesta Ecoboost namin eh lagi kumakaripas sa SLEX/Skyway, ano pa daw kung sasakyan na doble yung power output.

If not for the needs of a family vehicle, I would surely lobby for a WRX instead of a Forester XT.

There is a downside having a xt, other suvs tend tend to cut you off when driving, rice rockets included, i just dont mind them, btw..when the novelty of going fast wears off it drives like any other suv,

Subaru Forester
