How so? Have you tried driving your Fozzie at 4K rpm or higher? NA engines achieve peak torque between 4k to 5k rpm. If you tend to drive between 2k to 3k rpm, you won’t be able to feel that extra oomph.

    Here's what my manual says:

The engine is designed to operate using unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 AKI (90 RON) or higher. Sabi lang po kasi ng ahente ko 95 RON or higher daw. Kaya confused ako.
Another question po pala, Ok lang po ba na mixed yung normal gasoline sa premium gasoline? Thanks po sa mga reply guys!
So the usual 91RON of the base unleaded gasoline will meet the requirement as per the manual. Sabi lang pala ng ahente na kelangan 95RON.

Oks lang halo ng gas. Mayrun naman knock sensor yung modern engines to deal with such cases.

Yup I redline the car occasionally. There is a felt difference between the two fuel blends.

If others don’t feel it, they are fortunate as they can opt for the cheaper option.

In my case, I have decided to always go for 95 RON.

Maybe it has to do with the tuning Motor Image did for our local Fozzies. Better check with Motor Image if they didn’t follow the manual for the local tune of the FB20. That might be the same for the XV and Impreza.

Me too, BIG. The Fozzie needs 50L each full tank and that amounts to around 3k every fill.

Subaru Forester FB20 engine needs 95 octane to perform optimally ... it will run on below 95 RON though ...

Check with Fusion R. It might be the stab links or worn-out front arm bushings.
