I suggest you get an STI intercooler, a catted downpipe and a turboback exhaust if you want significant HP gains (don't forget to get tuned! or go the easy route & buy a Cobb Tuning AccessPort). Removing the CAT alone doesn't give you big HP gains except add pollution to the already polluted air hehe..

So far, the EDM FXT 09 here in Manila have only fitted an avo intercooler. I was planning on that as well but not sure if my cusco front strut would still fit. That's the same issue with the perrin tmic. A bigger downpipe like a bellmouth type with 3 in is good, Magnaflow turbo back (from impreza sedan 08) on mine. No way for us EDM owners to use Cobb AP as thats specific to USDM. Only choice now is either to use Dastek's unichip (piggyback) or Ecutek.

Have you tried emailing AVO, Cusco or Perrin? Maybe they can answer your dilemma hehe.. If you're not shooting big numbers an STI I/C should be able to do the job nicely. Have you seen Borla's exhaust? It looks nice though but it's so expensive. Or how about Agency Power's exhaust? It's cheaper & a lot nicer but i don't know if you're into that though

I have test-driven my cousin's Forester 2.5xt...grabe..walang sinabi crv, rav4, outie. Ang sarap i rev.
Nagsisisi tuloy ako bat ako bumili ng CRV 2.4 back in 2008.

AFAIR, mga 1.7-1.8 sir. Yung FXT, that is. I think the 2.0X is 1.3+

I have an 07. Wanted the fastest AT I could get that is also very comfortable, soft road-able, madaming maka karga, and very reliable. So far, so good after 2 years.

Hindi sumasakit ang likod namin kahit long drive at hindi nakaka stress at all i long drive dahil yakang yaka ilusot (and that's an understatement).

It costs a bit more than other jap brands but it's still much cheaper and more reliable than Euro.

AFAIK sir, you might try canvassing banawe or the car mags for ads. Alam ko pa madami nag co custom make niyan. I suggest you ask MI though as it might interfere with airbag operation if not done properly.

I suggest you don't put seat cover because of the side airbags. Sayang binayaran mo na rin yun and safety feature na din yun.... remember Mrs. Saguisag's car accident?
