October 29th, 2007 10:57 AM #233My SA told me they are opening a branch in Alabang next year. Anyway, if more and more people buy Subaru, parts will become less of a problem (I hope).
Also, Subaru is quite popular in the States unlike Suzuki and I read from somewhere that around 85% of their cars are exported to other countries so I guess spare parts are readily available to be shipped... do I sound like I'm convincing myself?

October 29th, 2007 06:31 PM #234hello everyone,
finally I have a place to ask. I need a second car which is not too expensive. My choices are escape, crv, rav4 and a Forester 2.0. Looking over and asking, escape and subaru are the cheapest in its class. I have test drive both the 2.5 and 2.0 series and I would say the handling is good. I work a lot out of town like cavite and pampanga. How is the durability of the suspension of Forester? How about the leg room at the back seat? I have one kid and another about to come.
Thanks for your help guys.

Bago pa unit ko so I can't say if matibay. I don't expect Subaru to not have parts for their best selling car here pero if cost will be a concern, AFAIK Toyota and Honda should have the cheapest.

November 3rd, 2007 01:35 PM #237Got from Tokyo motor show. Forester was not included in their display maybe there's no new model. Main attractions aside from WRX STI are Legacy and Outback.

November 3rd, 2007 03:35 PM #238Sa akin 2.5 XT ... usually nasa mga 7.5 km/liter mixed city/highway driving. Just recently hit 8.0 km/liter for the first time! It's nice to drive a fast AT for once though. Most ATs I've driven are nowhere near as responsive as this. Shucks. Most of them can't even come close to my 1.6 Civic MT within 100 meters.
