XT sana eh, pero its 1.703M tapos wala pang ka-promo-promo kasi high yung demand. Eh yung Legacy 1.590 less 250K pa tapos may free reg. and tint.... times are truly hard nowadays man.... Oh well... its still a Subaru, and for that anyone can be proud of....

Yeah, in hindsight naisip ko nga madali naman i-bolt on mods yung mga 2.0 para bumilis eh malaki pa din savings. I don't regret my decision though. For me kasi, power is a safety issue. to tell you the truth, we have the legacy 2.0, tapos the '04 fozzie 2.0 (gusto mo pic na magkatabi sila.... maybe). Kahit na 100 kms (not kidding there) lang si leggie and well-broken-in na si Fozzie, mas malakas hatak niya ng Legacy. The low-end torque is really something. The Fozzie is fast, but the new Leggie is really something..... But then again, I've never experienced the XT, so I can't say for sure.

pup2, you mentioned that it would be cheaper to add mods to the 2.0X to make it go faster. I'm really interested to know what I can do to improve acceleration. The time of 0-100Kms for the 2.0X AT is about 12.7 secs. This is slow (for me). What are the top 3-5 things I can do to improve the "take-off". If I can improve the acceleration to about 10 secs, that would be good enough. Thanks in advance.

Intake, Headers & Exhaust. you can free up additional horsepower by simply adding these bolt on parts.

Thanks for the reply. If I may ask when did you buy your Forester (2.0X?)? Was the offer given when the price was still lower at P1.298M? They had a recent price increase of P10K and w/out tint on top of that. At least that's what the agent tells us...

hindi po kasali, may charge na 6500 para sa tint. di ko kinuha, instead pina- install-an ko ng 3M crystalline. mejo mas mahal nga lang

Tama si HBV bro. You can check out the SCP website for more info. Daming modders dun. Be aware though na baka ma apektuhan ang warranty mo -- but then di naman ganun ka spectacular ang warranty ng subby. Mukhang sa dami ng nagme major mods at humahataw to the max.

Did you get the MT? Mas quick sigurado yun for sure. The FXT is fast and quick pero sa 1st 10 meters na kailangan paglusot sa city traffic, a decent MT car pa din. Beyond that, let's just say it won't even be close.

You might not reach the FXT/WRX, but for me halos overkill na din naman sila for normal/city driving. Pero for 07 models and older, it feels good to trash cars who thought I was a revo.

Uy, loyal ka pala ha. Heehee. I was supposed to get a legacy myself -- yung yung gusto ni misis. Pero nakita ko the SA who test drove me had to work the sportshift to make it go fast. The FXT, he didn't even press the power button. Plus, I thought the ride on the FXT was nicer because of the long-travel suspension.

Still, great value on that leggy. You get better rear leg room in exchange and IMO, much better looks inside and out -- mas mura pa.

Sorry to hear that. Must be a new thing nga. This is their 3rd shipment kasi na na wipe out way ahead of time ang stocks ng forester. In fact, yung kakaubos lang na shipment dapat up to early next year na yun eh AFAIK, kahit display wala sila last week.

Wala kasing sales challenge sa forester eh. Sa ibang models meron kaya they can be more generous.

PS -- feeling ko lang, sa haba ng backlog at sa laki ng demand malaking chunk na nitong shipment na ito ang sold na. I don't see why they'd take out the free tint on a new delivery otherwise.

For the 2.0 Forester, dont do intake. Kaya ng design till 300 hp, iingay lang yan. Palit ka na lang drop in filter. Piper cross or k and n. Headers , catless pipes, free flowing resonator and stock muffs ok na. Headers get from speedlab. The rest free muff fabrication , mga 2 wks max. Bolt on gagawin nila, they just need to fit it. All stainless including flanges. Take note you will use your stock mufflers para quiet.

Yung mga gusto mag legacy, if you want a turbo version wait muna. Acceleration of the 2.5xlt may difference sa traffic, trust me. hehehe But then again, pwede na 2.0 as its dohc naman. Malakas naman tayo lahat sa gas pag traffic so its your choice.

As guys, we will always go for the XT :D

but for the mothers and wives, let's face it: the legacy is the best compromise, rather than the (in my opinion) 2.0X, which is heavier than the legacy thus slugging the acceleration. Kahit na hindi naka sportshift nga, there is still a reasonable amount of push. nainip lang SA mo Great value indeed.

May tanong ako. How do you turn off the lights inside the car sa harap? Kasi it's always on when we open the doors especially when cleaning. My father's worried that it will easily turn dark. Ayaw kasi mapatay pag open yung doors.

Dont worry about that, it wont turn dark easily. As for mine, I had everything turned to LED white.
