I'm probably going to have a sewer modify the front seat covers.
It seems we need to have seat covers that are air bag compliant. I wonder if the ones Motor Image installed on our Foresters are such.

My plan is to have it cleaned weekly and detailed yearly at HCS.

Won't be installing my seat covers to ensure the airbags can deploy when necessary.

On my last 3 cars I haven't installed any seat covers at all and the seats never deteriorated in 3, 7 and 9 nine years I kept these cars (all Hondas). My reason for not installing seat covers is aesthetics - I find seat covers of whatever type ugly but that's just me. But with the Subie, it's a necessity.

    Its not.

You can opt to remove the backrest portion of the seatcover from both front seats.

This looks like a good idea, I'll probably do this

Yesterday while fiddling with the front USB port, it fell off from being taped on the console. Forgot that the SA mentioned that it was only taped. Can't seem to get the rear one to work. Am I missing something here?

And has anyone had their foresters underwashed yet? I'm thinking that I can't bring it to just any gas station since it's AWD. Thanks!

Same thing happens to mine almost every other day. The tape they used doesn't appear to be heavy duty. I bought some outdoor double-sided tape and see if it will fix the problem.

The original USB port also doesn't work on my end. Apparently, only 1 can be active at a time unless they do some splicing or get a splitter. Hmmmm, I'll have to ask Jerold next time if a USB splitter will work.

*Calistro and tr1ck5h07, correct to say that you have a "front" USB port because you upgraded your HU to AVT? Mine is still OEM and I don't see any front USB port.

*tr1ck5h07, let us know how it goes. I like how the rear USB port can be used and hide the media player and the cables in the armrest. Unfortunately, we can't heheh.

*A_R, Yup, mukhang kasama sya sa AVT . Andun sya tabi ng power outlet sa front glove box. Mas okay pa rin yung OEM na USB port IMO dahil sa reason sa taas heheh. How's the sound upgrade by the way? Mukhang okay un tweeter na nabanggit ni sir desmodeci a few posts back.

Yeah the rear USB doesn't work but the RCA jack beside it does if you set the AVT to rear source and attach a source player. Do you guys notice the blue LED light beneath the front console (near the front power outlet/USB port) and do you know what is it for?
