The tint M.I. are giving out are supposedly by 3M. But its the cheapest ones (ie. 3M FX ST). I believe tint for the sunroof is extra as well as full front windshield tinting.

Given the kind of extreme heat we have, I believe investing on a better tint is worthwhile esp. if you spend a bit of time traveling during the day.

I think they also have solar gard but I dont know if it has good heat rejection.
Vkool is expensive so I want to know if it really is worth its price. Hoping for another 50% promo from them. =)

BTW, is MAA a good car insurance? I think this is the insurance provider for M.I. Mas ok ba sa M.I na din kami kumuha ng insurance or kami na lang mag-apply, ok ba Federal? Thanks.

PMed you blackmamba. Suggest Huper Optik for tint. Great performance as in you enter your car at noon and it's as if it was parked in the shade all along - no kidding. Won't block RFID signals or radar detectors like metal film V-Kool would. Half the price of V-Kool too.

Thanks! Yes, considering din Huper Optik. Totoo ba ung sa vkool will affect gps and ung card sa nlex? Although I called v-kool and sabi ng kausap ko baka daw mag-promo ulet by feb. Di ko lam kung totoo. Kokontakin daw nia ako if ever.

You can use your own insurance. But you need to make sure its all settled (all paper works signed and submitted at M.I.) before taking delivery of the car since M.I. will not release the vehicle if the insurance papers is not in order.

if you're buying through bank loan, the bank will require that you secure comprehensive insurance.

if you're buying cash, MI will just require the TPL as it's needed for the registration. you can get the insurance later. but think about it, do you really want to drive your brand new car without the insurance? I actually know someone who bumped into something in his garage when he got the unit from his dealer - at a time when he had yet to secure insurance.

Nothing expensive but I am now a happy camper - the only thing I need to do (audio-related) is to get the PAC or Metra so the steering wheel controls work.
Nice congrats on the sound system!
