Good day Sirs, ask ko lang sa mga may 2013 XT if you guys noticed sa unit nyo may mga missing screws sa both rear tires kung saan dapat ikabit ang mud guards. I missing at least 4 screws per side. Ganon din ba sa inyo? thanks.

I also the same missing scres, I ask subaru alabang they told that it is standard for screws missing, I think its for the mud guard

it happens sometimes, but no big deal. in case u r opening it via the button sa tailgate mismo, dont push the button for too long, it wont open, dapat quick press lang

Sir I never encountered this naman. The only time ayw mag open was when I had the shift at D or N, instead of P. I think it is required to be in P and doors are unlocked bago sya mag oopen.

supermanila is right. the only time the tailgate will open is when doors are unlocked and the shifter is at P. The three beeps is a reminder that at least one is not done.

yes this one also happens, your shifter must be on P, otherwise it wont open. pero sometimes pumapalpak din to, so i just turn off the car, then turn on again, then its back to normal

Hi guys, as promised - providing an update on my HU modification. I had the Pioneer AVH-X8550BT installed in Autoline. Total cost so far (since i don't have the rearview camera installed yet) is around Php 36k.

Breakdown:
Bought locally -
Pioneer HU - Php 26,500
Dash kit - Php 3,500

Bought from US (converted to peso already) -
Metra Axxess (steering wheel interface) - Php 3,000 (from Amazon including tax + shipping)
Wiring harness (for direct connection to factory wiring) - Php 572
RCA harness (interface so we could use stock AUX in center console) - Php 1,056
USB cable harness (to be able to use stock USB socket in center console) - Php 528
Shipping within US - Php 264

Rearview camera (OEM) probably costs around Php 2.5k daw according to Autoline which will be available around a month from now pa

So far the buttons on my steering wheel are working except the "speak" (PTT) button and "mode" which actually mutes the radio. I reckon this is just needs remapping on the metra axxess.

Btw, this Pioneer model can mirror your iPhone / ipad / android phone via HDMI using an AV connector for iPhone or MHL adapter for Android (cables sold separately). By mirror this means you can control some apps in your head unit as if it was your actual phone (eg. Waze)

Hope this helped. More or less total damage using this route would probably be around 40k.

When remapping pala i mean manual programming, which can be done with the metra already connected and working. You just need to re-assign the button assignments.

Also, I think you forgot to add the cost of the panel? 4.3k? or is the the dash kit 3.5k?

As for Kenwood:
HU: 49.50K
Panel: 4.3K
cables: 2.8K does not include the Aux and USB function....
Back up cam: 3K

Now, making me think to go to AVT way.......

id also like to have a Huper Optik tint installed, but the problem is that their website lacks substance, lacks details and specs value, cant even find the models of their tint that are in offer. unlike sa 3m and v-kool, me mga spec sheet and models ka na mababasa. might go the v-kool route, tried and tested ko na on our 2 cars before

Ako I just used the Color Stable series of 3M. Heat rejection is pretty good compared to the stock 3M that Subaru wanted to install. Now I'm looking for a tint that I can use for the sunroof naman. I want really high heat rejection kasi for the sunroof but not too dark para ma appreciate din sa gabi.

Btw, re the rattling sounds of my car, nadagdagan pa nung sinole sakin ng Subaru alabang, had bad experience with them. Really disappointed with their service.

Sorry to hear about your bad ex with S Alabang.

I got my unit from them too. They brought the unit to my house for the test drive and then they delivered my car. I have not stepped in their showroom... For PMS, they said they will pick up my car.
