2014 Subaru Forester

Mga masters, bakit ba napaka bumpy ng ride ng new forester sa rear passenger seats?... Medyo nakaka disappoint na kase.. Sa driver seat and front passenger okey na okey, pero sa likod parang naka pickup ang ride.��

Sir as mentioned by others, check your tire pressure. Also, if you are driving an XT, from what I know the springs are stiffer on the XT than the base 2.0i model. If I am not mistaken, 10% stiffer sa front, and 20% stiffer sa back, which might explain why mas matagtag ang ride sa likod. Pero ako based on experience with our other cars, mas less bumpy talaga usually ang ride sa harap kesa sa likod, and I think it might have to do with the weight distribution of the car since nasa harap yung engine and all.

Mga Sirs, been having fun driving my white pearl XT for almost month now. just want to ask you guys how do u maintain your windshield sa unit nyo? pansin ko kasi may mga water marks na konti sa akin. cguro from the dried rainwater and having it carwash sa tabi2x lang. can I buy anything to avoid or remove the stain? ano ok na brand? thanks.

Sir according to my brother, he tried several products and yung nag work daw talaga for him is the Glass Science Kit. Natanggal daw talaga water marks ng windshield nya, and it will also protect your windshield from rain, dirt, etc. Mapapansin mo pag umulan, dudulas yung water sa windshield mo, and while driving, yung beads of water daw are going up instead of going down sa wiper. So yes, I think that sometimes, the mano mano computation is the wrong one as well. In fact, I initially thought may kalokohan si Unioil, and that maybe hindi calibrated yung pump nila. Then I realize through some research na hindi rin ganon ka accurate pala yung "automatic stop" ng mga fuel pumps, in fact may tamang pagpasok pa daw nun, dapat daw hindi nakapasok ng buo, halfway lang yung pump sa tank.

Bring this container to the gas station, fill it up till the 40 Liters mark, then see what is the pump reading so that we can see if we are being ripped off the question is by how much are we being ripped off?

Bring this container to the gas station, fill it up till the 40 Liters mark, then see what is the pump reading so that we can see if we are being ripped off the question is by how much are we being ripped off?

Yeah, I think that's why they recommend din when you are monitoring your FC mano mano that you fill up your fuel on the same gas station and same pump as much as possible. Para mas consistent din yung results na makukuha mo. If ever you do that experiment sir with the container, let us know what the results are

Pros...

- So far it looks good compared to the stock unit... Di kasi ako marunung mag post ng pic, but you guys can search sa facebook Flyaudio Philippines and may makita kayo pic ng HU with Subaru 2013.
- GPS system is working and reverse cam is seen through the Hu also
- Bluetooth for Handsfree works fine also
- No Splicing
_ Steering wheer Control also works
-May iPod jack na nakalagay sa may gloves compartment


Cons
- I can seem to get my USB in the armrest console working
- reverse cam is installed inside the car, so mas maraming blind spots.
- cant seem to get the voice control working

So far yun muna.. will just share some updates after i try it a litle more...

Sir what is the software used for the GPS? Is the map detailed ba and complete? Anyway, regarding the USB armrest connection, I think you need a separate harness for that para gumana, but I'm not sure if they have it here. As for the voice control, does the Flyaudio unit support voice control? If it does, then there must be a separate mic for the unit, I don't think you can use the factory oem mic of the Subaru for the Flyaudio unit. Yung steering wheel control ba sir may additional ka pa ni purchase na harness or just the Flyaudio unit lang?

Also would be great if you can post the pictures (or better a video), you just need to upload them on a free image hosting site like Imageshack then link the image via the Insert Image button. Thanks.

Weathertech floor liner mats are coming out end of July according to Weathertech Philippines. It's a bit too pricey, but I think it's the best all weather mat if you have the budget for it. It already came out in other countries. Cost is 6995 front, 5995 back.





Did you also get the Flyaudio unit sir? If the GPS software is Garmin, you can actually get a pretty good detailed Philippine map with it. Just be a member of Roadguide.ph. They have a free Philippine map and a Contributor's map (much more detailed) for Gamin available at their site.

I'm guessing both AVT and Flyaudio are using China HUs, features look similar to my OEM fit china HU for my Rav4. I wonder if Flyaudio will come out with this OEM fit model for the Forester, similar to the XV model below

Regarding the USB in the armrest. I believe they may have missed a cable here. This should work(dapat).

Good day Sirs, ask ko lang sa mga may 2013 XT if you guys noticed sa unit nyo may mga missing screws sa both rear tires kung saan dapat ikabit ang mud guards. I missing at least 4 screws per side. Ganon din ba sa inyo? thanks.

Was filling up my motorcyle yesterday in UNIOIL and noticed their unleaded is *95Octane. I asked and they said they have upgraded their unleaded from 93 to 95. She even pointed out that color was changed from green to blue. I always filled up my Forester with XCS since I learned from MI that this is the only 95% that is cheaper and highly recommended for the engine. Unioil's unleaded is priced at 50.70 compared with the XCS 53++. Anybody has a comment or tried this fuel?
