if you do a little reading without letting your bias cloud your judgement, makikita mo china covid vaccines undergo the same clinical trials as western vaccines

i'm talking about the 2 china inactivated-virus vaccines (i'm not interested in the russian vaccine)

Even the respected Lancet covers China's vaccines

the reason why you think China is not being transparent is coz you lack information

coz you're allergic/not interested in reading anything with the word "China"
Maybe hindi lang pumapasok ang pro-China news sa feeds nya because ang trend ng searches nya is puro pro-West.

Same as when you googled something, walang katapusang ads na ibabato sayo.

    Advance payment for vaccine
By: Antonio T. Carpio - *inquirerdotnet
    Philippine Daily Inquirer / 05:07 AM November 19, 2020

On Sept. 14, 2020, President Duterte criticized pharmaceutical companies in Western countries for asking advance payment for their COVID-19 vaccines. The President complained, “Kung sabihin mo na, sige wala pa ‘yung vaccine, there is nothing with finality and you want us to make the reservation by depositing money, you must be crazy.” Besides, the President stated, “The procurement law of the Philippines does not allow you to buy something which is non-existent or to-be-produced as yet.” The President was referring to Republic Act No. 9184 or the Government Procurement Reform Act.

The President vowed to prioritize buying COVID-19 vaccines from China and Russia because of their “generosity” in not demanding advance payment. “If the vaccine of Russia and China are equally good and effective just like any other vaccine invented by any country, I will buy first,” the President declared.

The President is sadly mistaken in his pronouncements. First, Philippine law expressly authorizes the President to approve advance payment in any amount for the purchase of goods, particularly in case of calamities like a pandemic. Second, China and Russia will prioritize their own citizens since their state-owned companies are developing their vaccines.

i think pina-go ahead nila coz the vaccine is available na

unlike Pfizer and Moderna di pa approved ng FDA so di pa pwede ibenta

Not allergic. Just not convinced on China after all, they are still not open to a fully unbiased investigation of the CHINA WUHAN VIRUS

I am probably as anti-China as the HK pro democracy protestors and Taiwanese nationals

Probably but you have to consider how media is well contolled in China also.

Independent sniffing around or verfication of facts is a difficult proposition.

    RE: China vaccines

(those not interested just don't read this post)

China has 5 covid vaccines in phase 3 --- Sinopharm has 2 vaccines (both are inactivated whole virus), Sinovac has 1 (also inactivated virus)

All 3 are already in use under emergency use program in China

then there's CanSino's vaccine (using adenovirus vector) and a lesser known company using recombinant protein (mas hi-tech itong dalawa compared sa traditional inactivated virus)

since ongoing pa clinical trial in many countries di pa sila nag rereport ng phase 3 results

the latest information on Sinovac's vaccine is this --

mas konte ang antibodies ng mga nabakunahan kesa sa mga nagka-covid dati

sa Pfizer and Moderna trials, halos pareho lang ang level ng antibodies ng mga nabakunahan at mga nagka-covid dati

    see hindi ako biased

    will continue....

So does China's vaccine have a market?

    of course

there's no way Pfizer and Moderna can make enough vaccines for the whole world

fully booked na nga production nila for the developed world

so good luck sa mga 3rd worlder

and China's traditional vaccines are less fragile than mRNA vaccines so mas suitable for distribution to far flung areas

These vaccines as well are expected stable at refrigerated temperatures:
    Oxford Astra Zeneca
    Johnson & Johnson
    Sanofi and GSk"s program
    Novavax NVX-CoV2373
