Moderna's Covid vaccine may NOT stop spread of infection | Daily Mail Online

Since there is no data yet regarding transmission after vaccine, people who gets vaccinated should still wear mask to prevent spreading it to others. In theory you shouldn't be able to transmit the virus if it can't get you infected in the first place.

COVID deaths are expected to get worst in Trump's Lala land... the 2,100 deaths recorded on Tuesday were the result of the 100k daily cases that started three weeks ago Now the US is recording over over 180k cases daily.

US Coronavirus: The country reported more than 2,100 deaths in a single day. Things are projected to get worse - CNN

When cases and hospitalizations began to surge weeks ago, officials predicted deaths would soon follow. Daily cases haven't dipped below 100,000 in three weeks. And for the 15th consecutive day, the US beat its own hospitalization record, with now more than 88,000 Covid-19 patients nationwide, according to the COVID Tracking Project.

Naalala ko yung isang poster dito, sobra bilib sa chinese meds na lianhua, na makakapag pagaling daw ng covid, pero ayaw naman masubukan kung totoo nga

Also, if totoong nagpapagaling ng covid ang lianhua, why develop a vaccine pa, i think better ang medicine that can cure, than a vaccine that prevents.

"Be aware huwag kayong maniwala dyan sa vaccine nayan. Automatic na magpa- positive ka sa covid pag tinest kahit walang sakit.
Not even gonna address the microchip part of the conspiracy, but it is true that vaccine might cause positive response on antibody tests. The whole point of the vaccine, and in fact the way it works is to elicit an immune response from your body. It should not however cause a positive result on RT-PCR.

Speaking of vaccines, mukhang chamba lang ata yung 90% result ng AstraZeneca and their vaccine's actual efficacy is more in-line with the lower 62% figure:

For the current covid vaccines that are being rushed, I’ll pass. I’ll just take the cure if it’s available.

    it would appear,
the virus was designed to decimate the human population, one way or another.

Astrazeneca vaccine big question mark regarding it's third phase trials...

After Admitting Mistake, AstraZeneca Faces Difficult Questions About Its Vaccine - The New York Times

Scientists and industry experts said the error and a series of other irregularities and omissions in the way AstraZeneca initially disclosed the data have eroded their confidence in the reliability of the results.

Officials in the United States have noted that the results were not clear. It was the head of the flagship federal vaccine initiative — not the company — who first disclosed that the vaccine’s most promising results did not reflect data from older people.

Compared to most of the other leading Covid-19 vaccine developers, AstraZeneca is inexperienced when it comes to vaccines. And even before the chaotic release of results, the company was under scrutiny for its handling of the testing process.

kasi SARSCOV2 has high affinity to ACE2 receptors

unfortunately the human body has a lot of ACE2 receptors

di lang sa lungs pati sa heart, brain, kidney, gut, etc

sabi ng mga doctor covid is a multisystem disease

mas rinig lang natin ung epekto sa lungs pero the virus affects many organs

because only China and Russia are not transparent haha

    Twitter

    Natalie E. Dean, PhD
Astrazeneca/Oxford get a poor grade for transparency and rigor when it comes to the vaccine trial results they have reported. This is not like Pfizer or Moderna where we had the protocols in advance and a pre-specified primary analysis was reported. 1/5

AZN is evaluating their vaccine in multiple trials across the world, yet these are not embedded under a unified protocol. In fact, the trials seem to be quite different by country, in terms of populations, subgroups, etc. Based on the publicly available details I've seen. 2/5

With the exception of the US-based trial, I am not aware of details on how these trials are being monitored. Is there a centralized DSMB? Are they combining the accrued data? They seem to have combined events across Brazil and UK. Why not the other countries? 3/5

And reporting out a secondary analysis that was not pre-specified (since it seems to be based on a dosing error) is not desirable. If they seek to get the half-dose approved, they should wait until they have a compelling result. Otherwise, we can land in "evidence limbo." 4/5

All of this to say, I really don't know what to make of the results, but as
*Dereklowe and others have said, I'm glad this is not the first vaccine to read out, because it is awfully confusing for experts and non-experts alike. 5/5
