    LOOK: DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #170

    As of 4PM today, August 31, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 220,819.

    DOH likewise announces 165 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 157,562.

    A total of 3,446 confirmed cases are reported based on the total tests done by 97 out of 110 current operational labs.

    Note: Of the 3,446 reported cases today, 2,965 (86%) occurred within the recent 14 days (August 18 - August 31, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (1,528 or 52%), Region 4A (442 or 15%), and Region 3 (275 or 9%). Of the 38 deaths, 31 occurred in August (82%), 4 in July (11%) and 3 in June (8%). Deaths were from NCR (19 or 50%), Region 4A (9 or 24%), Region 7 (4 or 11%), Region 3 (2 or 5%), Region 6 (2 or 5%), Region 1 (1 or 3%), and Region 9 (1 or 3%).

    There were 23 duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, 4 recovered cases have been removed.

    Moreover, there were two (2) cases that were previously reported as recovered but after final validation, they were deaths.

    These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.

    Gyms again allowed under GCQ areas starting September 1

    The Philippine government is once again allowing gyms, internet cafes, drive-in cinemas, personal grooming services, pet grooming services, and tutorial centers to reopen in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) starting Tuesday, September 1.

    than to use middlemen and local retailers.
    kung merong permit from fda, customs, atbp naman...
