What I mean doc is that hopefully in a few days or weeks time, it suddenly stops as well. According to some things I have read about it online, they theorize that the fatal parts of the spanish flu died out eventually leaving only the normal and weaker parts of it which can be cured much more easily today.
Guo Wengui, 73rd richest man in China: The Chinese regime has hidden the facts about the #coronavirus. More than 50 thousand corpses were burned in 49 crematoriums in the city of Hubei alone and said that the number of people infected with the virus in the country is 1.5 million.

What's happening now is a retribution on China! You can't bully your way out of this! [emoji40][emoji630]

before believing every word that Guo guy (aka Miles Kwok) says
FYI he is the favorite resource person of the loudest China hawks in America -- Steve Bannon and Kyle Bass
matindi galit niya sa china govt so those American anti-China personalities love him so much (of course)
btw Guo predicted that Jack Ma will either be jailed or killed (so far that hasn't happened yet)
the guy is only taken seriously by the American far-right coz he tells them everything they wanna hear

i believe China is understating the number of coronavirus cases and deaths
baka ang official numbers nila 10% lang ng totoong numbers

yes China can be burning corpses
coz they need to slow down the epidemic
wala na panahon para i-turn over ang bawat bangkay to family members, mag lamay, mag funeral...
kakalat lang ang virus
desperate times desperate action
welding doors shut to prevent people from going outside infecting others
draconian measures

Expected naman ata na madami cases sa Singapore, precisely because they are an international flight hub. Dami flights that get routed through them, so even if hindi directly nanggaling Wuhan a passenger might pass through SG. For frequent travellers those big international hub airports are really where you're most likely to catch an infection.
As for us, yes madami mainlanders dito, but most of the international airports medyo malayo naman sa Wuhan/Hubei. Malamang na-screen na sa kanila before departing from one of their international airports. Plus our hot climate is not conducive to spreading the infection. Even now na technically tag-lamig we still see mid 30C temps during the day.
i hope so, too.
re. the spanish flu.
my theory is,
the spanish flu of 1918 died out, because it ran out of weak victims. either namatay-naubos sila, o lumakas na mga katawan nila, dahil sapat na ang kinakain nila. probably a combination of both.
we must remember, that that flu started at a time when the world was still weakened, fresh out from the first world war.
did you get to see the theories behind that spanish flu?
they read like a spy thriller...

Mejo conflicting pala sinabi ko.
Anyway, what i meant was dami nilang confirmed cases na in transit lang karamihan sakanila. How much more sa atin na ang daming mainlanders na nag ttrabaho pa dito.
For sure may local infection na rin dito.

sigurado meron local infection dito di lang tested
an infected person showing symptoms will only go to a hospital pag malala na symptoms like shortness of breath otherwise akala it's just a cold or flu
--
itong worldwide coronavirus case count naka depende yan sa confirmatory test
kung hindi natest, hindi kasama sa bilang
like mga may hiv pag di natest di alam may hiv
napakabago palang ng virus na ito madami pa hospital sa mundo wala pa test kit
kaya most of the reports come from developed countries coz they have better healthcare systems
Family gatherings... I guess talk about NCoV isn't the only thing on the table.
97 deaths on a single day... Hundred deaths a day may be reached this week plus a thousand death toll.

Imo, there is a very high probability of unreported Ncov infections here. Most of the Chinese Mainlanders can neither converse in English or Tagalog. And they usually stick to their own groups. If anyone of them is infected, they'd be hesitant to visit a doctor. I hope I'm wrong though.
i believe so.
"index of suspicion" is the basis for detection, diagnostic work-up, and subsequent reporting, in most diseases. the less informed or trained persons around, the less the suspicion.
if they don't suspect it, or if those involved can't communicate their thoughts, then there won't be a case to tally.
hey! not so many years ago, we would diagnose "kulam" or "ninuno sa punso" in patients that would today have been called a stroke, malaria, brain tumor, etc.
Nag check ba DOH sa mga POGO workers?
