Some people panic, some don't -- even in the USA. People react differently to the same problem. It's human nature. Like in this forum, there are those who are pooh-poohing the virus, then there are those who are taking it seriously. Same same.

4 more deaths, bringing the death toll to 6 in US of A. Mukhang Italy scenario playing out in the US.
4 more coronoavirus deaths reported in Washington state, bringing death toll to 6
Researchers who studied the first two Washington deaths had said the virus may have been spreading there for weeks, and suggested that up to 1,500 people may have been infected.

Officials on the US West Coast - in Washington, California and Oregon - have expressed concerns about infections appearing in patients who had not visited an area where there was an outbreak or been in contact with anyone who had.

Not enough test kit and not 100% sure... Maybe they should get from China ...hehehe

The federal government has admitted to problems with its diagnostic testing amid the rise in cases. A top federal scientist has raised concerns about a possible contamination in an Atlanta, Georgia, lab where the government had made test kits for the virus, Axios reports.

Key Missteps at the CDC Have Set Back Its Ability to Detect the Potential Spread of Coronavirus — ProPublica
The CDC designed a flawed test for COVID-19, then took weeks to figure out a fix so state and local labs could use it. New York still doesn’t trust the test’s accuracy.
Kaya siguro kumalat sa US, only last week of Feb na release fully yung ginawa nilang test kit. Ayaw kasi gamitin yung guidelines ng WHO.

Guidelines of an organization that could not even get decent data from China ... that discovered the outbreak too late ... let alone have competent people on ground zero to help investigate ... what were they doing? ... just sitting in HQ waiting for countries to report outbreaks? ...

Matagal sa news na Asymptomatic yung sakit. Even China has been saying this for how many weeks. But the US was so OVERCONFIDENT that their government saw no need to hurry fixing the test or buying from another country.

Virologist at Columbia University Dr Angela Rasmussen described the photo of the taskforce praying as unsettling.

"I have yet to attend a scientific meeting that begins with a Christian prayer," she said in a message posted on Twitter.

US may not be well prepared since this is a new disease but where would you rather be if ever you contracted wuhan virus? China or US who arguably has the most advanced medicine tech in the world be it in research, development or just simple palliative care.

Kahit sa Pilipinas kung mag positive ka sa Wuhan China virus, eh kabahan ka na.

The point is world wouldn't have this disease if not for China.

We are waiting and judging if developed and perceived enemy of China can managed this disease wala dapat yan in the first place kung hinde nag cover up China. Kumalat dahil sa mga intsik that's all to it.

Pataying ng Beijing lahat ng citizens nila walang problema. Pero sa ginawang nilang cover up nadamay buong mundo.

Lets forget the business side of it. Yun mga namatay dahil nahawa ng mga turista nila sa abroad. Everything is made in China andyan na tayo. Pero they should be given sanction dahil sa kagaguhan nila and world should now be very very wary of Chinese.

As for doing business with them tuloy nila since mura nga doon. Gamitan lang naman sa business eh but chinese mainlanders should now be shun worlwide if they visit any countries.

Buti sana kung exclusive chinese lang pwede tamaan ng Wuhan virus eh kaso hinde eh kahit sino pwede dahil sa kagagawan ng china.

I have dealt and still dealing with mainlanders and what I learned was you can't take their words for it. Magaling mangako mga yan, when they talked akala mo si Jeff bezo kausap mo.

Kaya my policy now is put their money where their mouth is. Hinde na pwede word of honor na lang.

Correct. Yung pag cover up nila last dec. tapos pina travel pa yung mga tao nila na nangaling dun to the rest of the world parang act of terrorism na rin kasi alam nila ito and they let it happen...

Instead of missile, gun and bomb... ito yung ginamit nila para maghasik ng lagim ang CCP... dapat talaga may managot...

I'm not sure which news outlet pero i remember sharing it to my team na may new pneumonia type sickness sa China around 2nd week ng December ata. SCMP or the Guardian, not sure.

We just laughed it off then, eh ngayon takot na takot na sila.

Dapat China looked into it sooner rather than later. now it's spreading fast.
