meron mga explanation why many people only get mild symptoms or no symptoms at all

one theory is coz there are 4 globally circulating coronaviruses that cause common cold (229E, NL63, OC43, HKU1)

malamang everyone has already caught those viruses in their lifetime so kahit papano meron memory ang immune system natin

since SARSCOV2 belongs to the same virus family baka kilala ng immune system natin ang surface molecules ng SARSCOV2

My wife had their rapid test for their company. May nag positive sa kanila then underwent PCR test and nag negative. Ang nakakatakot dyan yung false negative. Walang confirmation test. Kampante sila not knowing nagkakalat na sila.

RT-PCR test is highly accurate if done correctly.

You mean to say another RT-PCR test could have been done as a confirmatory test?

companies use rapid antibody test to check their employees

pag nag positive sa antibodies, doon lang pinapa-swab test for confirmation

mga nag negative sa antibodies hindi pinapa-swab

pero the thing is, pag negative sa antibodies hindi necessarily wala virus

maari meron virus pero di pa nag develop ng antibodies

that's what's dangerous about rapid test

it gives false sense of security sa mga nag negative

yan ang nirereklamo ng mga doctor na dapat itigil ang pag gamit ng rapid test

ang problema mahal ang swab test and results take days to come out
