does not mean one will still be negative (not infected) next week.

    that's the problem with pandemic.

that's what's dangerous about rapid test

it gives false sense of security sa mga nag negative

And this, imho, is why we now have 116k infections. Especially there were transmissions from those that were negative in the antibody test and then went back to their provinces.

Also the period of quarantine is too short. They know there are cases where it took 21 days for the virus to incubate so why only a 2 week quarantine? It should be a minimum of 3 weeks quarantine. Tapos saka mag swab test.

    exactly

your negative PCR test result only tells you your status at the moment of the swab

after a few days you got your PCR result -- NEGATIVE

    tuwang tuwa ka yehey!!

    tapos may naramdaman ka lagnat...

    yes i posted that before

sa China they quarantine people for 21 to 28 days

since they have more experience than anyone alam nila sneaky ung virus

ung 14 days standard nag umpisa yan noong January... early days palang kulang pa sa experience pero inadopt ng buong mundo ung 14 days standard

What I'm saying is confirmatory test of PCR test is only done when the rapid test is positive. So if an employee is negative, he won't have a confirmatory test.

But if you require confirmatory test for both positive and negative rapid test, you are just wasting money. So maybe the doctors suggesting to stop using the rapid test is correct.

kaya ako every 2 weeks rapid antibody test

kasi nasa isip ko lagi ung negative result doesn't mean i don't have the virus

it may mean i have the virus pero wala pa antibodies

since it takes about a week to develop IGM so testing every 2 weeks ma-de-detect mo yun

i think that applies to 10 to 14 days after onset of symptoms

pero di natin alam kailan nahawa

kasi pag nahawa ka di agad my symptoms

usually within a week meron na symptoms

ung iba 2 weeks kaya naging standard ang 14 day quarantine

pero meron cases where symptoms come out after 21 or 28 days

ung iba naman never develop symptoms

Yes, ideal nga yang ginagawa mo, just to make sure.

a box of 20 test kits can cost around 10,000

    kung hundreds ang employees mo...

rapid test palang yan... gusto ng mga doktor PCR... who can afford that every 2 weeks diba

    itong discussion natin this morning...

dito natin makita why this virus is so successful in spreading globally

it's coz meron siya contagious period na wala sintomas

if a virus is too deadly... tulad ng ebola pinapatay ang host in a few days... it can't spread very far coz it runs out of hosts

this virus is not very deadly

it doesn't kill most of its hosts

it doesn't even make most of its hosts sick enough to stay in bed

it allows its hosts to go around, travel...

    perfect pandemic virus talaga

    For asymptomatic lang yun.

For symptomatic patients: 10 days after symptom onset, plus at least 3 additional days without symptoms (including without fever [2] and without respiratory symptoms)[3]
For asymptomatic cases[4]: 10 days after positive test for SARS-CoV-2

Criteria for releasing COVID-19 patients from isolation

Nag post yung cardio ng Dad ko from TMC, important pala melatonin. Mild to moderate case 40 mg daw

So really, our best defense is a healthy body and enough sleep. Talagang this virus is taking out the weak.

    depende sa supplement

    melatonin is a hormone

di siya basta supplement like B-complex or C na pag high dose iihi mo lang

short term melatonin supplementation ok lang

pero pag matagal mo i-take baka mag shut down ang internal melatonin production mo
