DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #138

As of 7PM today, July 30, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 89,374.

A total of 3,954 confirmed cases are reported based on the total tests done by 80 out of 91 current operational labs.

DOH likewise announces 38,075 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 65,064.

Note:
Of the 38,075 recoveries reported today, 909 were based on RESU updates and 37,166 was part of the time-based tagging methodology (cases with mild disease or asymptomatic whose date of onset of illness or specimen collection was more than 14 days ago and shall be tagged as recovered as per DOH DM 2020-0258) from the enhanced data reconciliation efforts with local government units.

The same reconciliation effort also explains the 3,954 new cases reported today, of which 1,320 cases are fresh cases, and 2,634 are late cases. Of the new reported cases, 3,801 (96%) occurred in July, of which, 1,602 (42%) were from NCR and 955 (25%) from Region 7.

Of the 23 deaths, 19 (83%) in July, 3 (13%) in June, and 1 (4%) in April. Deaths were from NCR (12 or 52%), Region 7 (8 or 35%), Region 3 (1 or 4%), and Region 4A (1 or 4%); 1 case (4%) had an unspecified region.

There were sixty-six (66) duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, six (6) recovered cases and two (2) deaths have been removed.

Moreover, one (1) case that was previously reported to have recovered has been validated to have died and already included in the count of new deaths.

These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.

Went to binondo thru its back door Delpan, wow its like any other day, no pandemic occurring, covid proof yata tao dun, no masks.

Its not like they cant afford to buy masks, they’re playing cards with bets yun for sure, and smoking, drinking. Ayaw lang talaga sumunod, pasaway talaga.

It seems they are changing how they count again and flushed all the pending numbers forward.

Yung mga recoveries eh madami dahil considered as recovered na yung mga 14 days old or more na mild and asymptomatic.

Same with the new cases and deaths.

Napag tanto nila na hindi na nag re report na gumaling yung mga mild and asymptomatic kaya pinalagay na lang nila na magaling na sila.

To be honest I think the govt can handle this if they'll only get their acts together.

Kailangan na talaga nila to maximized yun mga quarantine facilities, lahat ng pwedeng convert, gawin na nila and pag positive dalhin na doon agad.

Kung kailangan biyahe doon sa super duper mega read center nilaga tao dito gawin na nila.

Local.govt last ng hotels sa jurisdiction Nola they have to make it quarantine facility na rin.
