DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #067
As of 4PM today, May 20, 2020, the Department of Health reports 279 new cases (PH12943-PH13221) of COVID-19. NCR with additional 150 new cases, Region 7 with 14 additional new cases and 115 new cases from different Regions. The total number of cases in the country is now at 13, 221.
DOH also announces 89 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 2,932.

After a “very quiet” February, he said, “Then we had our 2nd wave, which was the 1st major wave of more than 10,000 cases.”
He said the peak of the current wave was on March 31 when the Philippines reported 538 new cases.
Wong said the country is now at the “lower part” of this 2nd wave with the new cases averaging at 220 per day.
