After two months and with 50% pending for admission, it was indeed flattened.

    Partida may backlog pa yan.

As per DOH definition, flattening the curves includes being able to manage those suspected, asymptomatic and with mild symptoms patients.

Again babagsak tayo sa "hindi naman kelangan ng medical attention ang mga asymptomatic" if you believe that sure. Flattened na nga.
so send an email to DOH

tell them to test more people

huwag lang ung mga may sintomas

huwag lang ung ng 1st level contact ng mga nag positive

dapat pati 2nd level contact, pati 3rd level

    bilis na kaya mo yan

50% pending admission still coming from DOH? No need

    Sa kanila nang galing

    make your apointment, madam.
be aware that not all doctors hold clinic as usual.
many have chosen to go recluse at home.

in the hospital i am familiar with,
they just get your temperature via forehead gun, before going in. index of suspicion arises when temp is abnormally high.
there is a protocol on who should/may go for covid testing.

Expect an increase in covid cases daw sabi ni joey salceda.

Oh well, more reason for the government to extend ECQ, or better yet declare martial law to preempt rally.

wow...i never thought people still get their primary source of news and goings-on from tv patrol and the like. i've lost touch of that aspect of life since interwebs na ang go to news hubs ko.

re health info dissemination , bad timing talaga ang closure ng abs-cbn. kung sabagay, digong was obsessed w/ its shuttering since january so much so that he ignored & belittled the warning signs emanating from china, vietnam, and thailand so it's not as if this probable spike of infectees would be a surprise in a few weeks time.

it seems like people have become used to the psuedo martial law lifestyle na nga. & i don't see shortages in groceries except for the lack of stocks of skyflakes, curly tops, and chocnut. parang scary complacency na nga kasi people have accepted their fate.

magwawala na lang talaga siguro kung hindi pa bawiin ang liquor ban after the 15th

vaccine makers target the more stable segments of the virus genome (segments that are stable and less likely to change or mutate), from which to make the vaccine.
hopefully, one vaccine can be effective against different strains of the virus, even if they mutate.

IMHO reports on spread of infection vs healthcare capacity are not the only factors to consider to flatten the curve, thus, I used the phrase controlling the situation. Managing it. And yes making hospital beds available whenever needed by covid patients is part of controlling the situation.
