This Covid 19 is a big eye opener.
We are finally realising that money has no value.
Your amazing job is no longer an amazing job. Your expensive clothes now have no worth and no one gives a **** how you look anymore.
Your big house is just 4 empty walls like everyone else’s.
Your nice car is running on 4 tires, the same as everyone else’s.
We are finally seeing who the important people are, the ones who make a difference to our lives and are doing the crucial jobs we need.
    Market vendors ✔️
    Care workers ✔️
    Medical staff ✔️
    Emergency services ✔️
    Farmers ✔️
    Grocery cashiers and staff ✔️
    Truck drivers/delivery people ✔️
    Cleaners ✔️
    Garbage collectors ✔️
    Security Guards ✔️
    Morticians ✔️
    Funeral Directors ✔️
These people are the ones who keep our country from tipping over, the core of our daily lives, the people who regularly go unnoticed and are often frowned upon but keep working hard, generally on a low income.
People constantly look down on them and gloat that they earn more money than them.
But what worth does your money have now? How secure is your job in the real world when we take a step back to reality?
I’m proud of all of these people, they don’t earn enough for what they do, and they’re never appreciated for what they contribute.
Be kind to them, thank them, go out your way to tell them what an amazing job they’re doing.
Could you imagine how bad this would be without them??
Be thankful, I’ll be happy to buy them all a drink if we come out the other side 🙌🏽❤️

Anong ginagamit sa decontamination booth na ito? Meron din sa Marikina. I don't see mist being sprayed, or sa movies lang yung spray?

Jack Ma out of nowhere has like millions of test kit ready for donation. I know he's super rich but what the F?

Those effin Chinese are so super ready for this.. if you know what I mean.

Sino nag vvalidate if a test kit has 100% accuracy? May international standard ba set by WHO? or kanya kanya na lang lahat ng countries?

i heard over the radio this morning, that some local government units were making additional requirements for delivery of foodstuffs and movements of people.

alas, there is no such thing as 100% accuracy.
yes, each government has its own rules regarding this.

China was the source of the virus and the first to encounter the outbreak. Assuming the virus was not intentionally leaked, they can still manufacture those kits especially now - more than 3 months after the first reported case.

China is literally the factory of the world. BUT, as usual, the quality is suspect. In Spain, it was reported that Chinese-made testing kits are actually only 30% accurate - 80% rated accuracy.

so misdiagnosis/errors or whatever medical term they are using is very possible on these test kits na kung saan saan lang nangagaling?

Coronavirus test kits withdrawn in Spain over poor accuracy rate | World news | The Guardian

The Spanish government has withdrawn 9,000 Chinese-made coronavirus testing kits from use after it emerged that they had an accurate detection rate of just 30%.

Sana dumaan sa matinding validation mga test kits na dinonate satin especially those that are coming from the chinese!

yan ang trabaho ng PH FDA

meron naman mga na-approve na test kits from China

ung donation ni Jack Ma kung pareho sa brand na approved by PH FDA, di na kailangan i-validate uli

it is unwise to assume that the manufacturer's claims regarding their product, "are always correct".
government agencies are tasked with verifying these claims.

Parang medyo suspicious tong statement ng ritm na negative daw pala si Yap. Encoding error daw taapos conveniently made by a contractual employee.

if ritm says the first result was an error, that it is really negative and not positive as originally reported,
    so be it.
    why should i suspect anything?

when an institution commits an error, then recognizes it as such and does nothing to correct it,
    eventually its credibility would suffer.
but if it makes "too many errors", its credibility will also suffer.

I just find it odd. I was thinking more of measures being done to protect that dude in the palace from even the suspicion of being infected. Who knows.
