Yung Makati CESU, they do home visits and testing for close contacts (free) They will monitor the patient everyday until the end of the quarantine. Sa ibang LGU (example Las Pinas) they require everyone at the household to have RT PCR but don't shoulder the cost. Sa vaccination naman, while other cities had people waiting in line overnight, it took us more or less 30 mins from start to finish (and this was during the first roll out of the vaccines). Denmark cuts COVID-19 booster shot interval to 4-1/2 months | Reuters

Denmark will move forward the third coronavirus vaccination shot for people over the age of 40 to 4-1/2 months after the second shot, the health authority said on Monday.

The move to offer the booster shot earlier than the six months initially planned comes amid rising infection numbers and concern over the Omicron coronavirus variant.

“The immunity obtained by vaccination may be somewhat weaker against the new variant, but preliminary data suggest that a third shot provides increased immunity, which can prevent severe illness with Covid-19,” the Danish Health Authority said in a statement.

IDK what is with the mask that Americans hate to use it.

I will be closely monitoring Japan. Wearing mask is norm for them - to prevent infection and infecting others and to avoid allergy (hay fever).

If they deviate from the usual 2-month interval of surges, we might as well look at what they did or did not do.

Yung isang friend ko from LP kay VP Leni nakatanggap ng covid kit (he tried lang at mabilis response ng OVP) kaya ngayon todo suporta siya kay VP. I donated cash din for their own campaign

Its just bloody weired, of the 40 delta infected personnel (all completely vaccinated)we have in one of our project, 33 were asymptomatic and are all heavy brewed coffee drinkers, the rest has mild symptomes and are not coffee drinkers.

When I got my astra jab, in my batch Im the only one who didnt took a day off, I drink 2 shots of brewed coffee when I felt the vaccine side effect, and I felt fine afterwards. Hmmm ???? caffeine rush????

I was talking about positivity rate. Number of tested technically doesn't matter.

Its politicized. A political party and a few right-wing news outlets are equating masks and vaccines as part of a plot to wrest them off their guns.

more like the 2nd reason i think. a lot of americans feel that it's impinging on their right to freedom, right to choose, right to health, right to be not told to do whatever by whomever.

but judging by the protests in europe, it's no longer a purely american phenomenon nowadays. come to think of it, sa asia and africa may protests ba against covid19 measures? parang wala naman ata.
