There was a time tumaas din covid sa davao and cebu. And dumadami na din allocations ng mrna vaccines sa remote areas. Coincidentally, nung dumami na ang pfizer and moderna dito sa atin, dun bumaba ang covid.

Most reported U.S. Omicron cases have hit the fully vaccinated -CDC | Reuters

Among the Omicron cases, 25 were in people aged 18 to 39 and 14 had traveled internationally. Six people had previously been infected with the coronavirus.

Most of them only had mild symptoms such as coughing, congestion, and fatigue, the report said, and one person was hospitalized for two days. Other symptoms reported less frequently including nausea or vomiting, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, diarrhea and loss of taste or smell.

The CDC said that while many of the first reported Omicron cases appear to be mild, a lag exists between infection and more severe outcomes. Symptoms would also be expected to be milder in vaccinated persons and those with previous SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Even if most cases are mild, a highly transmissible variant could result in enough infections to overwhelm health systems, the CDC cautioned.

reports say he had a hard collision prior to the discomfort. nothing mentioned about covid19 jabs or if he's had it.

i get what you're saying and implying because one can't discount the effects of the covid19 virus on the cardiovascular system. but you can't just make sweeping and hasty irresponsible generalizations.

heck, i'm a covid19 survivor (albeit it was mild and i'll attribute that to the vax) and i'm scared of the possibility that my heart was damaged by the infection. i mean it took me over 2 months to run again after recovering from the infection because collapsing on the road is always at the back of my mind - but i can't live in a state of anxiety all the time. otherwise, it'll drive me batshet crazy and that's isn't good either.

The government “dropped the ball again” on an offer for 50 million syringes for COVID-19 vaccines, according to Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.

“We dropped the ball again; this time offer of 50 million syringes,” Locsin said over Twitter on Saturday.

and here i was about to say that the recent arrivals of vaccines numbering in the tens of thousands was very commendable. may sabit pa din pala ayon kay locsin.

a case of too much laxity much too soon?

“Patients who should be at hospitals are at home. Patients who should be in ICUs are in non-ICU wards,” the Association of Physicians for Humanism and four other medical and welfare groups said in a joint statement.

As resources become depleted, the statement said, patients who have lower chances of survival were being admitted on the condition that they agree to do-not-resuscitate orders. Patients suffering from other medical conditions were asked to sign a form saying they understood the possibility they might not be able to continue treatment or receive surgeries while in isolation for COVID-19.
