my 17-yo son got his first dose pfizer today. he registered last Nov. 2 at around 8PM and got a text confirmation yesterday morning. his schedule is for 2PM pa, but we took a chance this morning kasi yesterday there are a lot of people in the vacc area (Robinsons Antipolo) that some of his friends took 4-6 hrs to get vaccinated. buti na lang kanina mabilis lang, less than an hour lang, vaccinated na sya.

only my 8-yo youngest son is not vaccinated in our household.

I have not been following the news lately on covid. Do we now have a 3rd shot or booster shot for Sinovac? because I was injected 2nd dose last June and 6 months will be due next month.... and as I have read the vaccine will have no or just minimal efficacy after 6 months.

i am also waiting for official word and directive to present my deltoid for booster vaxxing.
i had my antibody level checked, some weeks ago.
positive pa naman. i scored 64, with the laboratory's passing rate of 50.

What vaccine brand was injected to you doc?

I am now worried for my dad, it's already 6 months since his 2nd sinovac shot. He just had his antibodies tested today, still waiting for the result.

If his antibodies falls below the minimum, baka mag panic sya. He just had a stroke 3 months ago and is still not cleared by his doctor to take a booster shot.

I think the problem is PUV. If your job start e. or end time is near curfew mas konti byahe.

And unlike sa doctor-patient relationship na patient ang nag adjust sa kapritsuhan ng doctor kung late siya gumising at magmuni-muni han ang nag breakfast kaya late pumunta ng clinic kahit "by appointment" daw. [emoji23]

This is what prevents a lot of patients from regularly seeing their doctors. Nakakainit ng ulo mag hintay sa kanila. Kaya if minor problem lang, which the patients think e kaya na ng paracetamol or ibuprofen, titiisin nalang nila kesa maghintay sa labas ng clinic, to find out later na critical na pala yung problem and mahirap na magamot dahil pinatagal.

Yung OB-Gyne ni misis dati, 9AM-12PM ang clinic hours. 12PM pa dadating. Nalaman ni misis na wala naman pala ginagawa yung doctor, just having her sweet time reading the newspapers while sipping her coffee. Nasa clinic na kami ng 9AM, and may iba na nauna. So imagine what time kami matapos, nanginginig na ako sa gutom.

Kaya nga we want to know why an employee's schedule cannot be changed. Is it because a client wants to only deal with a specific employee thats why the employee's schedule can't be changed? What if that employee gets sick/quits/ gets terminated? Because you can subdivide the 24 hours by any 8-9 hour schedule and have an agent talk/deal with a client anytime. I mean I'm pretty sure when I call PLDT, the guy/girl I talked to 5 minutes ago would not be the same person I m talking to right now.

There are BPO functions na technical hindi lang naman call center. Sa amin may mga system na yung assigned programmer lang ang alam ang innards ng system, the next person that can cover them only knows the basic. A one hour job for the assigned person can turn into 2 hours for the covering person.

I myself hirap mag leave. I know my colleagues can do basic task I won't be able to do but I know pagbalik ko maraming task na naka abang. I'm not complaining though because it will be hard for the client to replace me or my company. Or maybe it's just my imagination. [emoji23]

Kasi nga sila lang ang importante ang oras at dapat cancel mo na lahat ng gagawin for the whole day. Mga pasyente are lesser human being sa kanila.

Pero feeling ko gusto lang nila dramatic entrance yun marami ng pasyente na aantay para feeling celebrity pag dating. [emoji23]

Yes I just express concern especially those seniors or with comorbidities who have taken 2nd shot early this year because their anitbodies will surely go down and we might have an increase in death rate (knock on wood) if still there will be no 3rd or booster shot.

Booster is half dosage lang ng kung anong initial dose mo while 3rd shot is regular dose.

Hehe...back to topic na. We get it na hindi madali mag adjust ng shift ang BPO industries while doctors can dictate their consultation hours.

BTT - wala ng curfew and govt is open to requiring employees to get vaccinated.

My 17 years old nakapila ngayon sa Las Pinas. Medyo madami tao. She got text schedule yesterday pero nakita ko naka publish sa fb ng las Pinas yung vaccination site and oras. Parang pwede walk in. I hope they will separate walk ins from scheduled.

That's why 8 sometimes prefer clinics sa mall. The nurse will ask you for your mobile number then ikot ka muna sa Mall. The nurse will text you pag pa dating na yung doctor. Yun nga lang may mga cases na kailangan talaga hospital so you have to choice but wait and exchange air with other may sakit. [emoji23]

kanina naman sa anak ko, mahigpit naman check kung naka schedule ba today and kung may confirmation text. ok lang sa kanila na kahit anong oras yung sched mo basta today. pero kahapon alam ko may nakapag walk-in, sobrang daming tao daw kaya siguro nag higpit ngayon.

my second sinovac injection was last april pa.
