Sa Makati pwede na kahit saan galing city for second dose, all brands available pa. Makes me wonder kung swerte ba yung mga naghintay ng preferred brand nila, kasi I suppose pati ngayon maluwag sa vaccine site and they won't be needing boosters soon, very risky nga lang kung na covid sila. I guess either one of the first ka or last para sulit. Pinaka kawawa yung mga midway nagpa vaccine at napasama sa large crowd

The government should roll out boosters na.

Is it correct to say that 3rd dose is the booster shot? because some of my colleague are saying it is incorrect to say that it is a booster shot because it is just like taking a new covid shot. Now we are facing dilemna if we should take another vaccine brand or stay with same brand for the 3rd shot.... since it is not FDA approved yet so they are saying "take it at your own risk".

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) on Friday (Oct. 29) announced Taiwan's first imported COVID-19 case infected with the "Delta Plus" subvariant of the Delta strain.

On Friday, Philip Lo (羅一鈞), deputy head of the CECC’s medical response division, announced Taiwan's first imported case of the AY.4.2 subvariant, more commonly known as "Delta Plus." According to Lo, case No. 16,479 is a British man in his 50s who arrived on Oct. 22.

Lo pointed out that because he had received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, he is classified as a breakthrough infection. Thus far, as he is asymptomatic and was in isolation at the time of diagnosis, there is little threat of community transmission, said Lo.

He added that there are currently 42 countries around the world that have reported Delta Plus cases, including the U.K, the U.S., Canada, and Australia. In Asia, Israel, Thailand, and Singapore have recently reported cases.

mas mababa hospitalization ng mga unvaccinated with previous sarscov2 infection

that goes against the mainstream narrative that only unvaccinated people are in the hospital (for covid)

    Flu season ngayon sa US...

Fewer hospitalized with COVID like symptoms among unvaccinated with previous COVID infection. But higher percent tested positive with COVID again than among vaccinated.

I think in this context, by unvaccinated they mean by and large the ones who haven't had a prior infection yet.

What they leave out of the details there is 98% of those vaccinated testing positive in Singapore are either asymptomatic or with very mild symptoms. Most vaccinated people also recover more quickly, and are infectious for a shorter period so it reduces transmission.

The vaccines are not the sole solution, but they are obviously helping.

I don't put blind faith in science either, but I consider what learned people and credible sources have to say, then make up my own mind on what to do. It may not always be right, but I think its better to rely on (relatively) more dependable sources than some whacko(s) who exist only on the internet.
