Based on some the comments here, not all, biases against OCTA more based on economics. OCTA is very objective, they look at the numbers, they don’t look at the bigger picture. They are also looking at previous mistakes during the “surge” & what effect the lockdown had in controlling the surge. Their role is to look at the numbers & advise policy makers based on what they see. The more difficult job will fall on the policy makers & pencil pushers (DOH, IATF, MALACAÑANG). No one likes lockdowns, I hate it. My income has been greatly affected like everyone but I just have to tighten my belt a bit & soldier on.

which is why i believe that lockdowns do not make a significant and permanent dent in our outcomes.
what will probably have a more effective, significant, and more permanent effect, would be an honest-to-goodness change in our personal protection habits.
change has to come from within us, to be effective.
change that is dictated from without us, is effective only for as long as the enforcing agent is present.
