Brain swelling killed mixed-vaccine recipient

Doctors say a 39-year-old teacher who had received Sinovac-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines died of brain swelling but have yet to conclude whether it had anything to do with the mixed shots.

Dr Chawetsan Namwat, its director for emergency health hazard and disease control, said on Friday that the woman in Prachuap Khiri Khan province had been first inoculated with the Sinovac vaccine and then received the AstraZeneca vaccine as a booster shot. She died on Tuesday, a day after the second jab.

According to a preliminary autopsy report, he said, a mass in her brain caused it to swell. Blood in the brain out pressure on the brain stem and was the cause of death.

according to some literature that i googled just now,
the CDC is withdrawing its request to allow the use of its single-analyte pcr test under EUA, in order to encourage multiple-analyte test development and use.
instead of tests that test for just one item, they are encouraging the development of tests that simultaneously test for multiple items.

the test the CDC has right now, is not really inferior or "not up to snuff".
it is just, "different", from what they envision and want to encourage.

i do not know why gates and soros would be laughing hard, however.

Oh wow. 1 SECOND to infect? Then 99% of people who go any place indoor mahahawa niyan. I don't think surgical masks offer much protection. Unless talaga yung parang astronaut na may sarili lang oxygen or yung N95 na fitted or yun ginagamit ni Vodka na mask

Parang nakakawala na ng pag asa, it seems like it's only a matter of time bago mahawa. I'm really praying I don't die from covid. It's a terrible way to die. Sinovac lang vaccine ko and I have comorbidities. But I have no choice, I need to go out to buy medicines once a month at may mga bagay na kailangan ako personal gumawa like bank

All vaccine works. Matakot ka kung wala ka pang bakuna. Mga nagka delta na sinovac either asymtomatic or mild lang.

Get a better mask. I got this with a rubber seal around the face that is so secure, it doesn’t fog up my glasses & my breath escapes through the front. I moded it by covering the valve with a cut off filter.

Mixed AstraZeneca-Pfizer shot boosts COVID antibody level - study | Reuters

A mixed vaccination of first AstraZeneca (AZN.L) and then a Pfizer (PFE.N) COVID-19 shot boosted neutralizing antibody levels by six times compared with two AstraZeneca doses, a study from South Korea showed.

The study involved 499 medical workers - 100 receiving mixed doses, 200 taking two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech (22UAy.DE) shot and the remainder getting two AstraZeneca shots.

All showed neutralizing antibodies, which prevent the virus from entering cells and replicating, and the result of the mixed schedule of vaccines showed similar amounts of neutralizing antibodies found from the group that received two Pfizer shots.

A British study last month showed similar results - an AstraZeneca shot followed by Pfizer produced the best T-cell responses, and a higher antibody response than Pfizer followed by AstraZeneca
