Astra is actually a viral vector vaccine bro. Astra side effects seem to be milder for older people. The reverse seems to be true for Pfizer.

My parents got AZ and I got Pfizer. We all experienced general malaise for a day. They took a paracetamol pill and I just rested it out. But like I said, its a small price to pay for the alternative.

    the son explained earlier,
that because of his dad's pharmacologically-induced immunosuppresion,
his dad's antibody levels wouldn't go up.
hence the four (?) attempts at vaccination...
what i did not hear, was where they got the vaccines from.

Over half a million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine ordered by the private sector arrived in the Philippines on Friday morning.

The 575,000 doses were part of the tripartite agreement of the private sector with the Philippine government and the British-Swedish company.

The country is also set to receive on Friday afternoon 15,000 more doses of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine.
Over 570K AstraZeneca doses for private sector arrive in PH

kaya pre-vaccination may magtatanong sayo if you have HIV, organ transplant (coz one needs to take immunosuppressive drugs to prevent rejection)

pag mahina immune system di magrereact sa normal dose na bakuna

i guess that's why they were actively monitoring his antibody levels.

how many among us "normals" would go thru the trouble of actively monitoring our antibody levels?
