    SARSCOV2 is already endemic

    there's no zero covid

    there's no "defeating" the virus

Until the vaccination drive reach a more significant level then we have no choice but to resort to lockdown

Lest we be cocky about it and take our chance with fate

A healthy worker will drive the economy, that's the key to economic recovery which is what the lockdown intend to achieve anyway

Hunger is another problem though, but can be dealt with community camaraderie..those who have more to spare can share what little they have for the survival of our community and eventually of our country

Let's admit it. Most people here in tsikot can survive lockdowns, we still earn while staying at home, we still eat although maybe more than usual. We can afford food deliveries and online groceries.

But if you will listen to other congregation of people especially from masa, iba tono nila. Lalo na yung mga minimum wage na nata tambay sa bahay dahil sa lockdown. These people are isang kahig isang tuka, 2 weeks without kahig means 2 weeks problem of where to get the tuka. No, that SAP from the government isn't enough.

well i hate lockdowns coz they limit my freedom we should be free to move around if we want, at our own risk of course. for me it's better to live life w/ risks than to be too safe trapped in your house like a prisoner. it's not a very high risk to begin with

the gov't shouldn't be bullied by a bunch of work-from-home middle agers into shutting down the economy

why should the masses go hungry just to assuage the fears of a small number of privileged people?

    hello tsikoteers,

Eh kagalingan of tsikot way back pa sinasabi yan. That is civilizational wsidom!!!!

ako, ang sinusundan ko health advice way back pa eh si ray peat at yun tcm doctor sa ongpin = BOTH BUHAY ngayon covid lagpas 1 year na. Si ray peat nang-aasar pa nga about vaccine eh hahahah!!!!! ( I think both are 80++years old. At that age you are preparing to meet your creator but they are still alive)

madami kais mahihinang nilalang namatay sa covid na graduate ng top schoool kaya gusto lockdown. So damay buong popuation. BAkit kailangan magsuffer ang matitibay na tao????

Death is an eventuality. Tuloy dapat ang buhay.

Eh ako nga ang yabang-yabang, palabas palabas 15months na. Maghohopia tour pa ako.

Is this just a typo error? 5700/49300 should be around 11% only not as high as 16% positivity rate.

Pfizer says 2021 COVID-19 vaccine sales to top $33.5 bln, sees need for boosters

Pfizer Inc on Wednesday raised its 2021 sales forecast for its COVID-19 vaccine by 29% to $33.5 billion, and said it believes people will need a third dose of the shot developed with German partner BioNTech to keep protection against the virus high.

The company said it could apply for an emergency use authorization (EUA) for a booster dose as early as August.

Hospitals and icu occupancy rate is going up the past weeks. 50% na yata.
2 big hospitals including PGH have said that all their ICU patients are unvaccinated.
Tama naman OCTA about a probable surge in August. Much more credible than the DOH, IATF & other people.

Just wondering ano ang intention ng OCTA? Pahirapan at palhbugin Pilipinas? Eh diba nag lockdown din naman sa abroad? Lalo na mga mababa pa rate ng vaccination like OZ fore example talo pa natin sila sa roll out.
