experts do not know how pfizer will protect the vaccinateds and those around them.
they do not know how long the protection will last.
they do not know if the vaccine will protect the folks from getting infected, from passing on the infection to others.
they do not know how useful it will be, when other variants start showing up.
so, no.
pfizer won't yet allow you to live life as you knew it before covid.

Chill lang.[emoji4] 2 weeks after your 2nd Sinovac dose, you are protected against moderate/severe covid. You can go out but with mask and still practicing health protocols. You can meet your friends but practice social distancing. Most importantly, do this only if all of you in the house are fully vaccinated with the 2 week wait. Al fresco dining muna. Don’t live in fear. Calculated risk muna tayo. Honestly, if you’re sure your friends are negative, I think you’re all safe to dine out. When your fave mRNA vaccine becomes widely available, be free to get it rightaway. Do not regret getting Sinovac.

No shipments of Johnson & Johnson's coronavirus vaccine have gone out from the federal government in several weeks, CNN has learned, because the one-shot vaccine is in short supply.

The government has not sent any doses of the J&J vaccine to states since the first week of May, an official told CNN. That figure is in line with data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on vaccine shipments.

The lag comes, however, as the pace of vaccination has slowed in recent weeks and nearly half of the eligible US population -- people 12 and older -- is already fully vaccinated. The J&J vaccine is authorized for use in people 18 and older.

Nearly 11 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine -- about half of the more than 21 million doses that have been delivered to states and other jurisdictions -- have not been administered, according to CDC data.

However, doses will go overseas, White House Covid-19 Response Coordinator Jeff Zients said. "We are shipping Johnson & Johnson doses to other countries," Zients told CNN's Jake Tapper on Thursday.

The lack of shipments is directly linked to the issues related to the Emergent BioSolutions plant in Baltimore. The facility, which has struggled with contamination problems, still hasn't produced a single usable dose of J&J's vaccine as it awaits regulatory approval from the US Food and Drug Administration.

doc pag Pfizer dead host na daw kaya talagang pwede na mag normal life kasi hindi ka na makakahawa and even if you have it since mataas protection ng mRNA you are likely to be asymptomatic or moderate symptoms lang. Sa US halos back to normal na sila

We are all vaccinated na with sinovac at home but I am still scared to go out, I go out once a month, but if I can't help it and have other errands, dapat 1 week intervals and I NEVER EVER take off my mask when I am out, kaya if I am out 6 hrs that means no food or drinks the whole time. Sobrang hassle Lately I've been feeling bad na kasi I am getting tired of this imprisoned lifestyle I am so irritated na because I can't do normal things until now (example last haircut ko was January 2020) Nag comment pa BFF ko na I gave up fashion for health LOL (totoo naman ang manang ko na!)

Most my friends that I meet regularly kasi not vaccinated pa kasi mga young and healthy but I think they qualify na for A4, I don't regret sinovac naman. I am thinking after the 2 week wait baka pwede hindi na kami mag mask sa loob ng bahay and I could stop disinfecting all our groceries?

Just to let you know Cathy, I’ve been going to work everyday. Since the ecq was lifted. I’ve been having haircuts monthly with my trusted barber. Going to groceries at least twice a month. Buying medicines. Having car repairs. I only keep in mind social distancing + mask. Alcohol when you can, wash hands when possible, as soon as you get home. Don’t touch your face. We eat out sometimes but al fresco. We’re not back to normal, but we’re living with what we can. Surface infections are low risk. High risk is interacting with C19 positive individuals close and enclosed.

I am tempted na nga to have a haircut and mani pedi pero home service and I will have it done sa garden. It's so hard kasi before I used to have my nails done at least once a month, ang kati kati ng cuticle 1.5 yrs na My dentist naman walang practice since lockdown last year

Yung Mom ko pala na suspend yung SSS pension since 2020, until now hindi ko maasikaso kasi I don't wanna go SSS Saka none of us had our check up kasi takot pumunta hospital. So many things to do hehehe

Yung SSS pension annual appearance yata Pwede online. Or thru the bank lang. check with her bank for the pension. I’ve been to Makati Med at least 3 times. Hiwalay naman covid area. And the doctors meet by appointment lang so halos walang tao. Kung delikado sa hospital clinic, pano na mga secretary ng doctor na buong araw andun? Ung secretary ng ortho wife gf ko, senior citizen pa!

I did go to the bank several time na and I also called and emailed SSS pero pinagpapasa pasahan ako! How frustrating this government. What is funny if she did her annual appearance BEFORE the lockdown pero na suspend pa rin. My last resort is to go to an SSS office na talaga kasi almost one year na ko pinagpapasa pasahan. That's Philippine public service and efficiency

Update (2000ET): The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Thursday that it will convene an "emergency meeting" of its advisers on June 18th to discuss rare but higher-than-expected reports of heart inflammation following doses of the mRNA-based Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

The new details about myocarditis and pericarditis emerged first in presentations to a panel of independent advisers for the Food and Drug Administration, who are meeting Thursday to discuss how the regulator should approach emergency use authorization for using COVID-19 vaccines in younger children.

As CBS reports, the CDC previously disclosed that reports of heart inflammation were detected mostly in younger men and teenage boys following their second dose, and that there was a "higher number of observed than expected" cases in 16- to 24-year-olds. Last month, the CDC urged providers to "ask about prior COVID-19 vaccination" in patients with symptoms of heart inflammation.

There have been a higher-than-expected number of cases of heart inflammation in 16- to 24-year-olds after receiving their second dose of Pfizer’s or Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday, citing preliminary data from its vaccine safety monitor system.

The CDC has received reports of 275 cases in that age group as of May 31, the agency said in a presentation prepared for a Food and Drug Administration advisory panel meeting Thursday. Scientists expected between 10 and 102 cases of myocarditis or pericarditis — where the heart muscle or the lining surrounding it become inflamed, according to the CDC.
