Ang naiisip ko nga yung virus talaga ay expected talaga magmu-mutate.. Nagkataon lang na yung variant nag match sa mutations din sa iba't ibang bansa.. Napanood ko kasi sa news na sa isang household ibat-ibang variant yung virus na kumapit sa kanila.. inisip ko nung mahawa yung isa possible na nag mutate yung virus bago nya mahawa yung isa pa..
bakit kasi ginawang country based yung variant.. Hehehehe paano kung may sumulpot na bagong mutation same country.. "UK Variant Version 2.0"?

i find it difficult, determining whether it is the new, improved version of the virus, or whether it is the humens' loosened behavior vis a vis safety protocols, as the deciding factor to explain the seeming resurgence. maybe a combination of both.
politically, it is more correct to blame the virus.

Because it will take 3-5 days before the virus in your body will be detected by RT-PCR test.

Nagpa sobra ako ng reservation. Alam ko sigurado magbabago isip nila once makita nila madami nagpapa vax ng sinovac. Kung may sosobra pa din, donate ko nalang sa ibang may gusto.

Kwento din ng isang hospital director dito, at first nasa 4 lang nag sign-up for sinovax sa mga staff nila. Now almost 200 na daw.

they (and the gov't) are attributing it to people's relaxed behavior

but if it's behavior, i don't notice much change in behavior since Jan

December holidays tingin ko talaga start nitong surge. Doon maraming lakad at social interactions eh. Carried over sa January celebrations of course kaya ito na tayo ngayon.

Combination na rin talaga yan imho. Started Dec 2020 pa yan when the gov't relaxed curfew and allowed (nonchalantly) those minors to freely roam our streets na to revive the economy somehow.

Kaya nasanay na tayo Jan/Feb na maraming tao sa sa labas at wala nang naninita na mga covid marshalls na parang naging pakitang-tao lang din. Relax na talaga eh.

it takes around a week from initial infection to showing symptoms... then (for vulnerable ones) sa 2nd week medyo serious na need na ma-ospital

so if people were already being infected in Dec 2020 we should have seen an increase in hospitalizations in January palang

pero kahit after pista ng nazareno wala pa reported increase in hospitalizations
