Heard from someone na mas marami daw adverse reactions from Astra compared to Sinovac sa mga HCWs from St. Luke's? Pa-clarify nalang sa mga may kakilala sa St. Luke's.

Because astra uses a live virus coated with spikes unlike sinovac which is a dead whole virus.... so not much of an adverse reaction when injected with sinovac.

I tried to search the article I read but found that the CDC have changed their guidance that it is now OK to mix Pfizer with other vaccines.

Currently NCR still has curfew pero iba iba oras. Pag iisahin lang nila oras so yung mga workers na umuuwi ng gabi eh hindi malito.

More of a spike in a long first wave, we never flattened the curve so no second wave so to speak. But again according to Roque they were excellent in handling the pandmemic.

I have not been monitoring the number of cases but seems like it has flattened because the number of cases per day is consistent at around 1,500 cases per day if im not mistaken for several months and then now it becomes 3k and then 4k.

Here in our area even if we are in MGCQ, we still have curfew hours (10PM - 5AM).
But sa checkpoint, lagi sinisita mga naka 2 wheels.
If naka taxi, i-check din nila if may papers to prove authorize person outside residence.
Last time I bravely got out 12AM Sun (technically Mon na) to help someone makauwi, sarap i drive dahil clear ang daan.
1-2 personnel lang nagmaman sa checkpoint and naka tutok lang sa phone or tulog, hehehe...

coz the new variants can grab on to our cells much better than older variants

This is what is prevalent in the PH right now, with a very small percentage coming from other variants (i.e. the B.1.1.7 UK Kent Variant has been seen in the PH).

Basically, naging pabaya na mga pinoy since P.3 is the same variant that has been prevalent through most of 2020. This surge is not due to any new variants.
