Heard from someone na mas marami daw adverse reactions from Astra compared to Sinovac sa mga HCWs from St. Luke's? Pa-clarify nalang sa mga may kakilala sa St. Luke's.

My wife just got injected with Astra yesterday. She had a mild reaction, she had some rashes & medyo matamlay siya.

in this day and age of covid, i wouldn't exactly label it "junket", i.e., "i wouldn't go there if i don't have to."

Agree on this one. No need for a junket talaga. Peer review data would be enough and online meeting or transaction would suffice. Mas magastos na yan for sure and siyempre may side trip pa hehehe. Russy girls here we come.

Astra daw darating sa amin na vaccine, pass na lang muna hehehe. Wait pa sa further development. Baka yung sputnik mas matinik, need pa ng junket para makuha deal eh. Might wait for that.

Sana may dumating na Novavax next year. I plan on getting this after Sinovac. Read that Novavax ang ok pang 2nd vax. Pfizer naman is no-no i-mix with other vax.

Pero 2 doses pa rin gagawin sa sinovac or isa lang?

Ano nga pala papa test after mabakuna para makita kung meron na talag antibodies saka kung mataas?

COVID-19: Blood clot reports in Europe prompt investigation into Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine
Professor Anthony Harnden, from the Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisations, told Sky News there is no reason to doubt the safety of the jab in the UK.

He said: "People shouldn't be worried, we have given 11 million doses and our regulator reviews the safety reports as they come in."

He said evidence to suggest there was more instances of blood clots in the vaccinated population, than the general population "just isn't there".

Don't believe the Gov't press release that they can vaccinate 70% or more of the population by year end to get partial herd immunity.

Remember they have to ship these vaccines to the different areas and cities of the phil first. Because of its limited supply they have to allocate just the right amount for every hospital in the provinces. Plus you have to overcome the hesitancy of a lot of our countrymen in the provinces to get the vaccine.
The vaccination program is gaining speed thou, i have seen more and more HCW from various private and public hospitals in various parts of the country showing off their vaccine pose.

when the bulk of the vaccine do start to arrive, i expect the private sector having a better and faster time in vaccine distribution. Government and LGU distribution would be very chaotic, plus add that certain VIP from their communities demanding be bumped up in the vaccine queue.

    Sir Boybi
bakit bawal i mix yung Pfizer with other vaccines? is it the same with Moderna?

ang alam ko is Adenoviral vector vaccines might partially lose its efficiency if used more than once because the body might be primed already on that specific Adenoviral vector thus effectively eliminating the vaccine before its able to elicit an immune response to the covid particle its carrying.
