    Its all politically motivated.
hatred for this administration has clouded peoples judgment.
they can't seem to see the overall picture.
Basta endorsed ni du30 and galing china masama yan.

which is why i am disappointed with the opposition.
when its time to help each other to heal this country all they do is bash those in power seat even if what they are doing is for the benefit of the country.

It makes me wonder what would happen if any of the major opposition personality would suddenly make an about face and start endorsing the China vaccine?
What is the VP Robredo's stance on this?

    is that a bad thing?

Cabinet officials to get Sinovac jabs to boost public confidence, senator says | Philstar.com

Dapat naman talaga manggaling sa admin ang initiative for the people to trust sinovac. Sila nasa puwesto eh, i-reverse nila effect ng politicking nila ng dengvaxia.

Teka siya nanalo sa eleksyon diba. Si Sara number 1 sa last presidential survey. Papano mo masasabi na politically motivated.

Sinovac got a bad rap not just because it's made by China, it's primarilly because from the very beginning (again beginning of the manufacturing or creation of vaccine, wala pa mass vaccination programs from other countries ha) nakakapagduda na data nila. The add up the shockingly overpriced acquisition cost(add mo pa isssue nasmuggled and early trial bakuna kuno ng PSG, President na ayaw magpaturok, delayed processing or orders etc.), eh sino ba naman tanga bibili ng product na same price pero magkaiba efficacy (at least on reliable data)? Gov't dapat ang mag-isip para sa kapakanan ng taumbayan, last year pa lang may build-up na ng resentment sa vaccine not just because China-made, yun ang totoo. Eh ano ginawa ng gov't, puro lang assurances without result. Biruin mo ngayon lang naisip na magpaturok cbainet members in public to alleviate filipinos concern. Too late the hero if you ask me, and you have to blame the admin for this ****-up and backlash. Mali ba?

"PGH previously said a survey of hospital personnel found a 94-percent willingness to be vacicnated, but they said that they were under the impression that the vaccine to be given went through the "proper evaluation process" by all three bodies — the FDA, HTAC and NITAG."

Hindi pagiging choosy if you can afford it. That's your right and it's not illegal as well. Ano problema dun?

I got this last year. Ayaw ko sa diskarte ng China when it comes to their treatment of the country.

Bida pa rin sila in the end, lame move ang policticking if tama ginagawa at may results.

Hindi mo pwede sabihin na in general galit tao sa gobyerno kasi gov't loves Chian because the surveys says otherwise.

    Anyway, some good news. Sana.

Then don't generalize. Posts mo kasi puro generalization. Pinoys hate sinovac not just because of it's made in China, this admin made so many wrong moves that public sentiments eroded trust even for the vaccine. Tsikot is but a grain in the ocean. And people here have the right and the capacity to be choosy.

    re my western centric comment

Yes i stand by that generalization

    Filipinos are western centric... America-centric

pag dating sa favorable view towards the US, few countries beat PH

    pinoys love uncle sam

    anything American is good

    anything China is bad

hindi kathang isip ang generalization ko

    it's palpable

    it's observable

On the CHINA WUHAN VIRUS story: China’s truthtellers: The people who shared details of the Covid-19 pandemic that Beijing left out

Friends at the AIIB and Philippine Embassy in Beijing say that VPN is necessary and essential but very slow. They also use Yahoo emails because Google, or any Google related account/app, is banned.

We all know the government failed big time in getting the vaccine.
No one is arguing against that. they failed to get a western vaccine because they were waiting for their buddy buddy china to provide us with one.
if the Opposition starts to endorse the use of Sinovac then it isn't a political issue anymore.
Not sure if anyone in the opposition is endorsing the Sinovac vaccine. that is why i am asking the question.

So the philippines is better off without the Sinovac vaccine?
Won't that vaccine help pinoys not get hospitalized when they get infected with Covid?
Won't we achieve Herd immunity faster with the Sinovac vaccine?
Won't that be better for our country?

if the Du30 gov't was pushing for Gamelya/Sputnik V or maybe the Indian Vaccine Covaxin i am guessing there would still be a big backlash against it.
maybe a lot less considering its not china made.

What if the Du30 gov't was pushing for SinoPharm instead? its efficiency is greater than those of both astrzeneca and J&J.

Why do you keep on insisting the narrative na opposition is playing politics.

Bakit opposition mag endorse?

They need volunteers from their ranks or siya mauna

What's so special about sinovac?
