The educated and the HCW can make informed decisions on their own. They can always opt not to take a specific vaccine and wait for a better one.
Its the everyday people out there in the metro manila and the provinces that is the problem when it comes to vaccination.
These are the people who follow the recommendations of their friends, kabarkada or neighbor.
They really don't care that much whether the stage III trials was 50% or 90%, these are the same people who go to Quiapo to buy Herbal medicines, go to an albularyo for treatment,
Right now because of a high negative perception of the covid vaccine that came from china that they are generalizing that all vaccines are not good for them.
The government is primarily to blame for this, had they handled this pandemic better then maybe this wouldn't have happened or if they had brought in the better vaccine first maybe this won't have gotten so bad.
the constant barrage of negative comments on socmed and the media is not helping the cause of the DOH.
We all want the same thing right? Herd Immunity - and we all agree that we can achieve it faster with the China vaccine than without.

Just found out that Japan just started their vaccination 2 weeks ago, malaki kasi distrust ng mga Japanese sa vaccines in general, not just covid. So they have to require the vaccines to be trialed with Japanese people first before being given EUA.

And in Taiwan, they are trying to get the Pfizer vaccine, but because China has the exclusive rights for the vaccine in Asia, ayaw nila makipag deal sa China. So wala pa silang nakukuhang vaccine. If the Taiwanese government do really care for its citizens, why play politics?

PGH hcw not wanting sinovac didn't helped. Many in the province look up to PGH the way they do to UP, with prestige and awe.

We all want to have a relatively normal life naman talaga despite the flu staying on for 2 more years daw. The faster we get herd immunity, definitely better for all of us.

Past is past, andyan na mistrust sa vaccine in general. Sana lang magawan ng ng gobyerno natin na mareverse pa situation at magtiwala ang taumbayan at magpavaccine na whatever vaccine arrives. Those who prefer something else for whatever reason, that is their prerogative. Let's leave it at that.

Yes a lot of pinoy do look up to PGH. Sana nga the gov't find a better way to inform the public of the benefits of the vaccine irregardless of the country of Origin.

That's what I'm thinking. Baka saline lang yung iinject kay Duque at Harrieta

Yung mga gusto sa China vaccine magpaturok na at wag ng makialam sa mga ayaw. Ako nag sign up na for vaccine (either Pfizer/Moderna) I'll wait even if it takes me until end of 2021
