The virus can spread through asymptomatic household members.

Keep a regular routine of sanitazing items that are touched often (e.g. door knobs, ref door, chairs, etc). Monitor her condition closely, best to quarantine as early as possible. After 3 days if the condition gets worse, best to have a swab test for all household members.

Now I'm thinking if I'm asymptomatic. In the past 2 weeks I only went out March 15 and 22 to go to the vet and that was less than 20 mins. I never took off my mask and they wore a mask too. This feels awful talaga. I am so paranoid na nga and have been going out only for absolute essentials then this happens...

Researchers may have found an explanation for the rare but serious blood clots reported among some people who received AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine.

They believe the phenomenon is similar to one that rarely occurs with a blood thinning drug called heparin, called heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT). In HIT, the drug triggers the immune system to produce antibodies that activate platelets, which cause blood to clot.

Drugs other than heparin can cause clotting disorders that strongly resemble HIT, and researchers suspect that in rare cases, the AstraZeneca vaccine may be another such trigger. Four previously healthy individuals who got the AstraZeneca shot and developed life-threatening clots had the same kind of antibodies that activate platelets and initiate clotting in HIT, the researchers reported on Monday in a paper posted on Research Square ahead of peer review.

Twenty individuals who received the vaccine but did not develop clots did not have these antibodies. An editorial comment posted with the study noted that drug-induced thrombocytopenia is treatable if identified promptly. Millions of people have received the vaccine without issues and European regulators and the World Health Organization say the benefits of the AstraZeneca shot outweigh its risks.

Yung Rapid Antigen test is a very good screening test. 30 mins lang, may result na at 90+% accuracy but, kung may reactors, confirmstory & gold standard ay yung RT-PCR pa rin. Positives reported agad sa LGU

Good thing is there are no reported cases of clotting problems with senior doctors and HCWs jabbed with Astra so far in 2 big local hospitals.
Marami lang doctors and nurses nagka-flu right after for 1-3 days. At least you know your immune system is working.

Yung Rapid Antigen test is a very good screening test. 30 mins lang, may result na at 90+% accuracy but, kung may reactors, confirmstory & gold standard ay yung RT-PCR pa rin. Positives reported agad sa LGU

But the problem is sometimes swab antigen tested negative but positive in rt pcr test. That happened to one of my colleague she thought she is covid free based on the antigen test.

your mom's Pulse O2 is 77? thats too low. Average is 95-99%
double check the pulse O2 every hour, and see if she is having a hard time breathing or trying to catch her breath.

home service RT PCR? Yes, I am waiting for the third day of her symptoms para less chance for a false negative. I am praying hard that it's just the flu, matagal na siya talaga on and off may issue sa throat (just like me) Though it still worries me when she gets fever because fever is just a symptom. This is really the worse time to get sick kasi before when she feels something doctor agad kami but can't do that anymore...

May pailan ilan akong nakikita na nagpo-post sa FB at nanghihingi ng tulong kung sino may kakilala na doctor at kung pwede sila matulungan na i-admit yung family member nila dahil nahihirapan na maka hinga. Marami na daw napuntahan na ospital pero lahat daw tinatanggihan sila.

I remember my doctor told me last year that just wait for summer or dry season then this virus will slowly disappear by itself.... but apparently it just keeps on infecting people theres no stopping this virus.

Last night 9 pm 37.8 so I gave biogesic
2 am 37
7 am 36.9
3 pm 37.7 so fever na naman I gave biogesic again
