When was the last time it was cleaned? As in spray/pour water over it na cleaning -- hindi lang yun filters. Usually 2x a year if you're near a road.

Last 2 months! Under construction pa yung bahay namin na katapat ng bahay din namin ngayon. Pero yung ercon lang na yun mahina sa lahat. The rest are very okay. same units

Pa check baka meron maliit na butas. Baka kulang na sa Freon.

Madumi talaga hanging dito sa atin. We don't live near a road Pero talagang dumadumi pa rin yun Indoor Type kahit na Hinde ako nagbubukas ng Windows.

Ayaw ko muna ng inverter. Ang brownout sa amin eh patay-sindi minsan. As in split second brownout. Kaya iwas muna sa electronics.

Anyone has any feedback on the Samsung Triangle-shaped inverter split-A/C?

On paper, it seems to offer stronger airflow and is more efficient all-around compared to the rectangular types.

I need a 2.5HP unit.

from experience, split type harder more expensive to install and maintain, its selling point was its was more quiet, pero not anymore, new ones are quiet na din..the only advantages i see sa split type are...pwede mo iiwas yung motor sa direct sunlight at kung hindi pwede talaga yung window type kasi walang window...

Iwas sa samsung and idec brands since sirain talaga mga aircon nila. Pati kolin na non-inverter sirain but inverter units are ok.
Panasonic lately has more lemon units acdg to a friend who had 2 lemons out of 3 pana units. Pinalitan nya ng LG and he's happy with LG

naiwan na ata sila ng korean inverter tech. lg and samsung has this double inverter tech which improves efficiency over the 2nd gen inverters.

Still have some nagging concerns about durability bro. My uncle's Samsung inverter broke down already just after the warranty lapsed. Something to do with the electronic control. Subscribed to this thread. I will have to buy at least 2-3 units for the office I'm building.

I bought 2 kolin inverter type - split and window. The window type broke a few months after the warranty expires. The split type is still going strong and on its 2nd year.
