i bought Kolin Split Type 1.5HP Inverter for my bedroom last month(May 09) at na-install na rin sya that day. so far, wla naman aku problem sa unit ok naman sya, malamig at swabe naman ang indoor at outdoor nya. nabili ko sya sa ANSON Php27k, i paid it cash kasi malaki discount nila kapag cash basis. if im not mistaken nasa Php30k ata sya kapag regular price tpos kung installment iba naman ang rate pa. Php5k yung installation charge ng mga 3rd party installer.
today, dumating bill namin from Meralco, the last reading was yesterday, June 07. Ive noticed from my Meralco e-bill every 7th of the month sila nag rereading sa area ko. eksatong 1month ko na rin nalagay yung inverter. ang bill namin umabot ng Php4400. medyo nakakapang gigil kasi nung wla pa kmi inverter Php1500 lang ang average bill namin. i have no idea kung may point ba yung pang gigil ko, hehehe...the mere fact na bumili pa aku sa ACE ng 2 POWER SAVER unit pero late ko na rin sya na-plug yun sa outlet ko...
then i used the MERALCO CALCULATOR ang estimate lang nya is Php378/month. im so much confident na mababa lang yung additional ko sa average bill ko. kaya anu bang apps na yan lakas makapag-UTO ng madlang people. GRAVEHHHH....
most of them ive interviewed is kailangan daw more than 8hrs to 12hrs daw tatakbo yung aircon pra gumana yung INVERTER features nya. hnd ba mas kakain ng kuryente yung kung lalong papatagalin ko sya patakbuhin?
PA HELP NA LANG MADLANG PEOPLE, thank you

Ung nabibili mo sa ace hardware na v3 power save gumagana yan, pero depende sa circuit ng kuryente nyo. The best way to know is use clampmeter (ammeter) to know if it is effective or not. Imho, i am not a fan of kolin airconditioners. Inverter series ac is the same as typical ac but variea its consumption bases on the settings. Inverter gumagana yan everytime variable ang ekectric xonsumption nyan kaya mahirap macompute unless you have data

June 8th, 2013 11:54 PM #345HP in A/C is cooling capacity not electrical capacity. Not all A/C with advertise HP are the same. You need to read the fine print, ex btu/hr.

above calculations should give you ballpark figure on the amount of electricity consumption for the aircon.
