    Its easy. Just dont lose the clips and fasteners. Also, to prevent scratches, use the plastic pryer. You can get upholstery removal tools from concorde and auto supplies.

    hello nav owners! need your help, tanong ko lng po if adjustable rancho shocks rs9000xl will make our ride softer on undulated pavements if it is set to 0? im planning to change on rancho adjustables, nagpalit kc ako ng wheels running on 265/50/R20 terra grapplers, ngaun medyo matagtag na cya, parang nawalan ng foam ung ride.. tnx po!

    Good day sirs! We ordered a Nissan Navara GTX 4x4 last friday and hopefully we will already get it this week hehe, Im really excited as this is my parent's graduation gift for me yahoooo!! question lang. papano ba ibreak in yung nav? kasi first brand new car ko to eh haha thanks masters

    Maintain engine tach below 2.5k RPM. Avoid heavy, sudden/ abrupt acceleration

    If youre not conservative then do the Italian style of braking-in. Be careful thou, power and torque is addictive.

    yup, avoid sudden bursts, limit your REV no problem if your speed reaches up to 120-140 kph as long as you do this gradually :D

    important thing is don't be too conservative in Breaking In, do some italian style like Doc said, im sure you'll be a happy camper , find open roads and cool down before you shut your engine ..

    Learned my lesson that its better using premix coolant than those needing distilled water. You cant be sure of the mixture and how deminiralized the water is.

    Reservoir is back to green again.

    Almost 3k kms had passed and I'd been observing hi temp in my SG around 93 to 96C. I was puzzled what could be wrong when everything was bleed out..

    Reviewed the installation procedure and realized i paid little attention with the orientation of bleeder valve. I installed the thermostat with bleeder valve at 7 o'clock, and there was still indeed trapped air in the system.



    Fixed the thing a while ago, took it for 50k run and temperature was back to normal again.




    So for those removing Thermostat, bleeder(jiggle) valve should be on top (12 o'clock).. hth

    I got a Malaysian version Navara 2.5 Diesel. YD25DDTi (4cyl DOHC, 16v Turbo with VNT and Intercooler).

    I am using DELO400 CI4 oil

    Can I use the Baldwin B2 or BT223 in this truck?

    In one of DVLDOC post, he mention that this truck already have a valve built in, so the filter don't need it.

    So if we were to use this B2 in the truck, would it harm it?

    Which is the actual cross for truck for Baldwin filters?

    BT223 is soo small, those are for corollas and camrys.
    B2 is soo long it would hit the water coolant pipe. Dont know exactly with Malaysian-built, but i think the plumbing orientation for RHD is the same.

    In one of DVLDOC post, he mention that this truck already have a valve built in, so the filter don't need it.
    Yes it does on the oil pump and the oil cooler, however the filter head/spin-on adapter does not have one and that's the reason why they put the bypass valve inside the filter. The OE filter has built-in bypass valve to allow oil circulation if ever the filter element gets clogged. Using filter with no bpv could damage your engine if the element gets clogged. AFAIK only the non-CR from previous gen navara/frontier (TD & BD)engines have bypass on the spin-on adapters so the filter used has no internal bypass valve (like B118).


    So if we were to use this B2 in the truck, would it harm it?

    For the PH (Thailand-built) Navaras, Baldwin direct cross for the OE Man and Hummel W920/48 is B4731 which has 16psi bypass valve
    Upgrade (longer) is B233 with 8psid. That is the longest that we could go, going beyond would hit the coolant pipe. There is no 16psid availailable for this size, but the element surface area should compensate for the lower psid.

    HELLO sir 12vdc , OJ213 and to all navara owners in this forum!

    May i ask whats the best transmission oil for our navara para maibalik ung smooth shifting even on cold startups?

    Mahirap na kasing mag shift kapag malamig pa ung sasakyan,from 1st to 2nd gear or 3rd gear going down 2nd gear or to 1st gear.
    Nagpalit na kasi ako ng gear oil, transmission oil at differential oil using valvoline as prescribed by royce motors during my 40K kms PMS..
    I inquired Nissan regarding this problem eh sabi ng nissan service advisor sa royce santiago kelangan talaga i warm up, sabi naman sa royce motors sa tugue nasobrahan ung oil kaya binawasan nila until sa level ng takip na nut pero ganun pa rin sir..

    Now im worried that i might be running low on my transmission oil kc mainit na ung gearbox nung binawasan ng oil(after travelling around 60kms).
    TNX in advance po sana may ma i recommend kayong solution.

    Motul user here. Im past 100k on the odo and my tranny is flawlwess as new.

    Kelan lumabas hard shifts, after or before 40k pms? baka clutch adjustment lang or fouled na clutch/fluid needs flushing?
    Dapat level sa filler plug ang oil for tranny, transfer and axle.

    tnx sa recommendation sir 12vdc! sana may mahanap ako sa tugue auto supplies na motul.

    hard shifts started after 40k pms , ngayon every morning na sya mahirap i shift.. i think royce just added my clutch fluid with CALTEX brake/clutch fluid, kc pina uwi sa akin ung container na maliit pero marami pang laman.. i'll ask royce din bka nag adjust sila sa clutch.

    Check your service receipt, 40k dapat complete drain/ flush/ re-fill.. Or baka hindi na bleed ng tama ang slave.

    Try mo sungkitin ang pedal upwards then saka mo depress to engage 1st gear.

    Ganyan nangyari sakin, malambot yung return spring hindi bumabalik ang piston completely.

    and im using REDLINE FULL SYN OIL 10W40
