*jojo168: Konti lang ang difference, i suggest u get your unit at your convenience. Advantage lang kung sa Manila mo kukunin, paglabas sa casa derecho mods sa shops..hehe Knowing our Nissan, malabo maglabas ng new or kahit facelifted Navara. I use my Navara mostly on provincial drives and i find it comfy against the other pickup brands that i drive.

Check this and compare the features..

yes sir, meron significant gain, esp on open road, iba ang hatak , had mine de cat then changed to 3" full exhaust from down pipe to exhaust tip, for the dump pipe madami pwede gumawa as long as you can provide the pattern ,it can be fabricated

Sa mga nakapag install ng DRL. Saan nyo tinap yung (+)? Ang gusto ko sana mangyari mag o-on lang sya kung umaandar ang makina, i cant seem to find the hot wire. I tried tapping on the 8th pin of OBD2 connector pero umiilaw na sya on ACC+ON position.

May built-in DRL relay at fuse sa fuse box pero iba yung nasa manual.

Last resort ko kumuha ng signal using isolator diode sa alternator, or i-tap sa oil-pressure switch.

    Hmmm...

    con't. DRL

Mask hole could'nt fit 2 switches so had fabricated switch holder from scrap plastic.

    Not so bad looking..

Switch for my DRL and another switch for my rear fog. Selection from Auto on - Off - On with park lights.

Temporary setting while im fabricating a logic circuit so that DRL will shut when front fogs are activated.

Hi Nissan Navara Gurus. Am currently in the market for a second car. I plan to get second hand unit. Unfortunately most of the units that's posted sa online selling sites runs around 40-50km na. So am wondering how's the maintenance cost of the nissan navara?

Hi 12vdc. Starting last December 2012 I regularly heard squeaking sounds every morning during cold starts and thinking that the belts are already worn out and causing the squeaky sounds, I had both belts replaced last January at the CASA during my Navs 45K PMS.

Two weeks later in February 2013, the squeaking sounds returned. After reading your posts here and with the advise and help of an uncle who's also a mechanic decided to change the OAP to the replacement (Circuit) which was also the ones available and advised by those in the alternator shop where we went to. After replacement slight ticking noises can still be heard during cold starts (sounded like the clutch of the OAP was locking or going the other direction for a nano second).

Last March however the squeaking sound returned again. We were thinking of replacing the OAP again either with another brand or original. Would just like to ask where you were able to buy the other replacement OAP you used which you mentioned as UK made?

We might try it out first before buying the original. Or is it possible that other things aside from the OAP are causing the squeaking? There was an instance or two that I decided to move the Nav forward after the squeaking sound was silenced but the engine temp not hot enough that there was some sort of squeaking on the steering wheel, but was not present when engine is already above the minimum temp level.

    Hello Navarra owners,

I got tons of heavy duty oil filters for your rides. Perfect for extended oil change intervals. Brands are Fleetguards and Baldwins.
These filters offer high filtering efficiency. better then OEM and the more popular VIC.

These filters will also fit vehicles listed on the link below:
JS Filters :: Application Cross Reference and Image for JS : Oil (Spin-on) : C206J

If interested contact me through my mobile: 0922-85-22-936

    Hi Shaun,

OAP can easily be diagnosed for problems if you have a VOLT METER. If the pulley clutch is failing, it will slide and emmit sound. Sliding clutch will cause your alternator to lose the required RPM for charging. In my case, i easily ruled out a failing OAP because the voltage dropped from around 14V to 12.5 ,and this happened everytime the sound was emmited. I got my OAP from CASA and it cost me 10k+.. I dont recommend replacing this not unless the voltage reading method is made.

Another noise problem i encountered was the serpentine belt. Similar to yours, sound came back few weeks upon replacing belt. After thoroughly checking all moving parts (even replaced upper pulley for trouble isolation method), i ended up removing small stones caught in the grooves of the belt. Sound disappeared immediately after removing those trapped stonest. I posted somewhere on this thread a pic of the stones caught in the serpentine belt, kindly check it to have an idea how it looks like.

BTW, dont discount yet the possibility of tensioneer bearing problem(i also posted some pics here) because i have seen Nav owners having this problem.

    HTH

NOT the OAP, tensioneer bearings, or other pulleys. Its the small stones caught in the grooves of the belt..

Picked up the stones then cleaned with joy diswashing liquid, noise now gone..
